From 800MHz to 853MHz the Xbox ONE’s Dev Kit has seen an increase in GPU speed. As if that wasn’t enough Microsoft has also managed to increase the driver spec of the Xbox ONE allowing for more of the industry’s high-end shaders to be placed on future technology-based Xbox ONE video games. For those out there attempting to compare the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox ONE (XO) in terms of power, you might as well just give it a rest right now. Both systems use completely different and unique features including GDDR5 (PS4) and eSRAM (XO), as well as other technologies, which will have even the hardware experts lying through their teeth if they claim to have the mathematics nailed in certainty. What we can tell you, is that both systems will blow current-gen technology out of the water and that this increase for Microsoft’s Xbox ONE GPU speed is paired with an increased focus on the online network will bring the entire Xbox experience to the next level and give a true step up from everything Microsoft’s millions of fans have seen thus far.
