Rumor: Star Fox for Wii U Caught On *Video* – Fact Or Fiction?

By Mitch Walters in Rumors

Star Fox Wii U Rumor

***UPDATE*** PlatinumGames has responded to this confirming that the rumor originally reported by SA is indeed false. They have claimed that the video is a fake but have made no comment as to the existence or non-existence of a Star Fox Wii U project.

The following video has been supposedly leaked as a Star Fox Wii U project that has not been announced and will feature development by PlatinumGames with a world called Eladard as the setting (which was supposed to be the setting in which the cancelled Star Fox 2 would have taken place in). Leave your comments below as to whether you think this is real or fake after watching. The source of this rumor is also listed below the video, they claim to have received this as a secret video taping of a demo showing of the alleged Wii U title.

  • While I would like for it to be true, I doubt. If it were already at the point where it was demonstrable they would have at least said something about it. It’s rare they have a game that far in development without any mention of it. Especially as hard pressed as they are for positive press at the moment.
