Those hopeful that this new Japanese Reveal will signal an eventual United States release of Monster Hunter Stories for the Nintendo 3DS and New 3DS platforms should remain positive. The Monster Hunter series will go down in history as one of Capcom’s highest grossing thanks to the booming success of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the portable platforms marking one of the best received open world, action role-playing titles from Capcom to see the states in a while. The entire Monster Hunter series has seen over 30 Million sales thus far worldwide.
In the newly announced Monster Hunter Stories, players take command of the male youth who are engaged in becoming triumphant entries to the world of heroic monster battling protagonists among MH’s item-accumulating-centric universe. A Japanese Reveal Trailer was released by Capcom early this morning with Full 1080P High Definition visuals likely meant to show off some of the more high fidelity detail that can be expected from owners of the New 3DS.
Monster Hunters Stories does not appear to be exclusive to New 3DS however, and should be available for regular Nintendo 3DS devices as well when it launches some time during next year in Japan. For more info, visit MH-Stories.JP and bring a translation guide! 🙂
