AMD 2017 Gaming PC Build - RealGamerNewZ

Intel and AMD offer varying differences in specs and price point but also use variations on the same measuring principles in regard to logic cores. This practice paired with often times non-sequential model numbers has led to some amount of confusion about the performance of each hardware. Presented below are two humble builds for gamers looking to jump into PC Gaming at Entry Tier or Mid Tier and need help picking parts. Although, be warned, we want your games to run well so we won’t be recommending anything below modern acceptable standards.

NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1050 Ti 1060 1070 1080 Ti PC Gaming - RealGamerNewZ

Entry Tier: Intel + NVidia Build:

$204.99 (NewEgg) – Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
$86.99 (Amazon) – Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
$52.99 (NewEgg) – G.Skill Aegis 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
$89.99 (Best Buy) – PNY CS1311 240GB 2.5″ Solid State Drive
$77.95 (Amazon) – Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5″ 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
$134.99 (Amazon) – EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ACX 2.0 Video Card
$40.99 (Amazon) – Deepcool TESSERACT SW ATX Mid Tower Case
$55.98 (NewEgg) – EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

$744.87 Total in Parts.

Also Recommended: 1080P Monitor or HDTV, Keyboard, Mouse, Xbox Controller.

While some may see this as slightly more than they might want to spend, an entry level gamer won’t have to worry about upgrading but will also have the ability to do so without needing a whole new machine. The discreet motherboard and economy budget case combine to provide an adequate support for an i5-7500 that allows our gamer the luxury of fast windows loading times on a 240GB SSD, a vast library of Steam games on a 2TB HDD, and a sufficient amount of DDR4 RAM paired with NVIDIA’s budget gamer deluxe package the GTX 1050 Ti which comes with 4GB of Video Memory. This can easily be upgraded later to a GTX 1080 if the owner wishes to experience higher levels of graphics as well – but isn’t necessary to enjoy the latest in PC Gaming with friends online.

Each build will be broken down in $ Total in Parts. Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Xbox Controller also recommended. We endorse the use of PCPartPicker.Com to track price change trends, and continue refreshing builds as new parts release onto the market and prove worthy of replacing old recommendations.
