Zombies are back! The real 1945 Nazi Zombies!
*Update: Call of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies Private Beta
PS4: Aug. 25 – Aug. 28
PS4 & XBOX ONE: Sept. 01 – Sept. 04
Pre-Order purchases for Call of Duty: WWII will give players access to a Private Beta period of the Nazi Zombies mode which was world premiered this weekend by Activision and Sledgehammer Games. The Private Beta begins on August 25, 2017 on PlayStation 4 and other platforms “to follow” …meaning you’ll have to wait a little bit if you aren’t playing on PS4. The fine print states that the minimum time the exclusivity of the Pre-Order Beta period will run is for 3 days and that dates and time frames are all subject to change, as with most beta testing. The full beta will probably run a bit longer than that, likely with pre-order folks gaining access to later waves of the Beta – details of which will follow in the coming weeks at COD Beta website.
COD:WWII releases November 3, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox ONE, and Windows PC via Steam and features a full campaign story mode, multiplayer war mode, division mode, headquarters mode, and the recently revealed Nazi Zombies mode below.

A stark contrast to the recent controversy of missing Nazi symbolism in the WWII multiplayer, the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: WWII will have no hesitation in featuring such, let’s hope that means we’re getting a semi-authentic story mode campaign as well. A group of brothers in arms and even a female soldier are also confirmed among the supporting characters for the title, and will perhaps serve as a temporary protagonists during certain acts or period of the game’s story-line as seen often in the COD series. This game is based on the United States Army’s 1st Infantry division operations in Europe and selects 1945 as its setting with a lead character who is a young soldier coming to grips with war named Ronald “Red” Daniels.
