Star Wars Battlefront II has an official reveal trailer, showing off everything about the game you need to know. New story from the Empire’s point of view. All 3 era’s of the films. And plenty of Star Wars destruction.
On April 15th at Star Wars Celebration at 2:30PM ET/11:30AM PT we will get a full trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II. Likely it’ll be a full cinematic trailer of what we have seen, and we will get gameplay at E3. Stay tuned here at RGN while we cover everything.
Yesterday the first big patch/update for Mass Effect Andromeda came out, fixing many of the issues people had reported since release. Updating character facial animations, characters eyes, Sara Ryders face, dialogue adjustments, and of course just several glitches here and there, such as the new game plus item limit bug. At the bottom of the article it features the offical world from BioWare on the future of game, and all the various fixes coming in the future, see you out there Pathfinder.
It’s been two weeks since the launch of Mass Effect™: Andromeda and we’re thankful to the millions of you who have already joined us on this journey. And though the game is now in your hands, it’s really just the beginning.
Since launch, our team has been poring over your comments and feedback, looking to discover what you like about the game, as well as areas we can evolve or improve.
This Thursday, we’ll release a new patch that addresses technical fixes (crashes, improved performance), but also adds a number of improvements we’ve heard you ask for, such as:
- Allowing you to skip ahead when travelling between planets in the galaxy map
- Increasing the inventory limits
- Improving the appearance of eyes for humans and asari characters
- Decreasing the cost of Remnant decryption keys and making them more accessible at merchants
- Improving localized voice over lip sync
- Fixing Ryder’s movements when running in a zig zag pattern
- Improving matchmaking and latency in multiplayer
There are many more adjustments being made, all of which you can find in our patch notes.
Over the next two months we’ll be rolling out additional patches which will go even deeper and look to improve several areas of the game:
- More options and variety in the character creator
- Improvements to hair and general appearance for characters
- Ongoing improvements to cinematic scenes and animations
- Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder
- Adjustments to conversations with Hainly Abrams
These upcoming patches will also address performance and stability issues. And we’re looking at adding more cosmetic items to single player for free.
For multiplayer, over the same timeframe, we’re going to continue to build on the APEX missions that have been running since launch. We’ll be adding new maps, characters, and weapons. On Thursday, we kick off the first of three new chapters centered around The Remnant Investigation.
This is just a taste of what’s in store as we continue to support Mass Effect: Andromeda. And as always, you all play an important role in that. We want to hear from you about your experiences, both what you love about the game and what you’d like to see changed. We’re listening, and we’re committed to partnering with you as we continue to explore the Andromeda galaxy together.
Here’s to a great journey,
Fallout 4 has been rumored to be in development for years, with the occasional “hot rumor” making it’s way onto the web every now and then. From the Three dog voice actor tweets hinting at the characters return earlier this year to the game rumored to be a Cyberpunk setting. But never have I seen a more convincing evidence linking to a Fallout 4 reveal than the latest rumors found earlier this month.
A Website named the survivor 2299 has surfaced with content relating to Fallout, including the Famous Vault symbol and font, also the name the survivor 2299. This could be a reference to a new Character as it does sound like a name of a Fallout protagonist with names like, “The Vault Dweller”, and “The Lone Wanderer” etc. The 2299 is more than likely pointing to the year 2299 and makes sense as most of the fallout games have taken place in the 23rd century.
Not enough to convince you?? Fair enough..
The Website also contains morse codes with Coding relating to Zenimax Media the parent company of Bethesda Game Studios, the People who made Fallout 3 and Published Fallout 4. The Coding also contains a Series of Codes which relate to one of the Radio transmission coding found in Fallout 3 and the Radio chatter when decoded can be found referencing the Commonwealth in Boston, Massachusetts and was rumored a Year before to be the new location in Fallout 4.
Once the coding was also highlighted, Nuclear Winter is Here was found but the host of the website has now changed it to random coding.. and a Number which could be dialed, representing Vault tec and the music from tranquility lane could be heard when answered but for some reason, when I tried again earlier today the number no longer works?
And Lastly, There is a Countdown timer on the Site which counts down to December 11th whilst emitting a Radio analyzer noise.
Bethesda also recently Trademarked fallout 4 just last week on one of Europe’s most trusted Trademark sites as they did with Fallout 3 and Oblivion on the same site??
Whether its a Hoax designed by some very smart individuals or a Clear Reveal pointer, this news has already blown the internet up and I cant wait to see what December 11th will reveal to the world…If it is True but please, Take this as a pinch of salt as Trademarked games like Half-Life 3 have been a elaborate ruse after going through the same rumor cycle.

We already know that the Upcoming MGS 5 contains Huge, Open, Areas and other Features such as Base Building, not so much as in Ground zeroes as it serves as a Big tutorial to get Players back into the mix. But The Phantom Pain will contain all these and more such as Mission Creators etc not only being limited to Consoles but also on Smart-glass devices etc.
The newest features to Come into the scene are not so much as new in the series but will be Fantastic in the new open world theme.
Kojima said in an Interview just last week that Players will be able to send scouts to Recon the Map, Highlighting Routes and Areas which will help Snake through his Missions, Not much was spoken about it but I’m guessing it will serve much like the Scout feature in MGS: Portable Ops(PSP) in which Sending scouts to maps will allow them to Get Ammo and special items from the map they were assigned.
Another Feature Kojima talked about in a Alert Podcast was Co-op and having a Partner help the player in these missions. But unlike Peace Walker, thier wont be 4 Player co-op but 2 player, and Concept art for this supposed Character was shown to the people in the Podcast. The Podcast was in Japanese and was actually aired 4 months ago and has not been elaborated on properly until recent.
Their are also English Alert Podcasts which can be found here: http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/radio/kp_alert/podcast.xml.
MGS5 is shaping up to be a Milestone in the MGS franchise and no release date has been announced yet, but the game is expected to release before the fiscal year 2012.
With the recently announced Enemy Within expansion pack for the highly successful XCOM Enemy Unknown on the brink, players will see an Expansion which introduces not only a whole new story-line but 2 including the Alien story-line and a whole new Human enemy faction, the EXALT, which are a new rebel-like Human force opposing XCOM. The Exalt wish to use a new resource in the expansion known as MELD to advance Human interests. Their design looks and has been described as ‘normal people’ who are able to blend in until the need arises to attack XCOM.
Anyway, with the expansion being reportedly much too big for download on consoles, whereas PC and MAC users will still be able to download the expansion for £19.99/$29.99, Firaxis Games has said that the Expansion will release with an all new edition of the game called XCOM: Commander Edition also including all other DLC’s like the Slingshot Pack and Elite Soldier pack etc, and the game is expected to cost $39.99/£TBA. I Think it will be about £25.99 but we will have to wait and see. It also includes the original game and XCOM: Enemy Within which is quite the bargain for the money.
XCOM: Enemy Within is expected to release on November 12th in North America and November 15th Internationally.
So what did you guys think about the new Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes trailer?? Well yes, it’s the same one shown last year at the VGA Awards – but this time in English!!! As I heard Keefer Sutherland’s voice mutter them famous words “Kept you waiting, Huh”, I was in awe.
For me he nailed it but many would disagree and that’s fine because not all of the voice acting in this trailer is perfect. Skullface, the mysterious new Protagonist with a Burnt face and rocking a badazz duster-coat, really got me excited because if there’s one thing Kojima knows how to do it’s to make the best villains in the business. So I was awaiting to see what voice he would hold, and as it turns out it sounds nothing like his character and to be honest. I was quite disappointed in this. The other voice is a familiar one – Kaz, who still has the same voice actor Robin Atkin Downes which I was more than happy with.
All in all the voice acting in my opinion was great except for Skullface but who knows, I may be wrong because not much of the Trailer shows him talking.
Please – if you haven’t gone and checked out the trailer I advise you to check it out HERE, yes it’s the same trailer but it gives us a taste of what is to come and at first it may sound weird hearing Keefer corrupt our beloved snake’s voice but I couldn’t have picked a better voice for snake. You can tell he cares about the character which is what the Metal Gear series needs. There is also a new direct feed demo of the game HERE without the Japanese commentary nor the bad feed and also the sounds of the game are much louder in this one. For more information about the upcoming title check out our dedicated Metal Gear Solid V Section Here.
