Black Ops 2: First Call of Duty on PlayStation Vita?

If readers recall, Activision was on stage with Sony at the PlayStation Vita’s debut in Tokyo, Japan at the PlayStation Meeting 2011 event and confirmed that Call of Duty as a franchise would arrive on the PlayStation Vita.

Fast forward to now, the Vita is out on shelves and though they may have missed the opportunity to release Modern Warfare 3 on the system in a timely fashion, Black Ops II could make up for that.

There is no doubt that Call of Duty is coming to the PlayStation Vita, and the odds are that Black Ops II will be the game to accomplish that. The real question lies in whether or not Activision will make use of the PlayStation 3 to PlayStation Vita compatibility and cross-play abilities.

What kind of message would it send to have PS3 users able to play with PSV gamers on the go? While being tied to a contract with Microsoft for paid DLC to release early exclusive on a timed schedule, I don’t see it happening any time soon.

However, some Call of Duty is better than no Call of Duty for those demographics that really can’t get enough of the top-selling casual online shooter.

I never played this game before, but I mean it would be interesting to have it in both Vita and PS3 just like how we had the ps2 and psp.

I own PSVita but I say if it’s true the game won’t be that *CRYSTAL CLEAR* in a photograph.

i would actually really enjoy to have the call of duty franchise come to ps vita because their isnt any realistic first person shooters for it and it would be nice to have something like that

Now that the PS Vita and Call of Duty Black Ops is out I think we can say thank you to this author for bringing the story to the surface before it was announced even when others didn’t want to believe.
