DMR will not be toned down it will stay the same. BR, Light Rifle and Carbine to be upgraded instead to bring more power to them.

The final piece of Halo 4 War Games Pass DLC has came out. The new maps in my mind were the best in Halo 4.

Daybreak: Two UNSC bases oppose each other in this large asymmetrical map. Teams need to spilt in order to gain weapons and the advantage. Best played in Slayer, King of the hill, and Regicide.

Outcast: Controlling vehicle paths is critical in this circular map set in a desert environment. Mantis and vehicle gameplay is heavy on this map. While you can snipe people and use heavy weapons getting in a vehicle is your best bet. Best played in Slayer, and Extraction.

Perdition: Blending long sightlines, vehicles, and close-quarters combat, Perdition caters to nearly any gameplay style. The whole idea of the map is to basically be large and appeal to every game mode. It also is a good play how you want to play map. Best played in Every mode expect for oddball.

The maps released today for 800 Microsoft points unless you purchased the War Games Pass. See you out there Spartans.

While 343 Industries and Microsoft Games Studios just released their latest Castle Map Pack today, talk for the future of Halo 4 is already being discussed. The team behind one of the most well received Halo titles since the old school feels that certain Micro-transaction practices being put into place by major publishers are not showing a good road to go down.

With a Halo 4 microtransactions (if put into place) the developers at 343 Industries feel it would be best to stick to gameplay enhancements such as those being sold by Gears of War: Judgement (for example skinned objects in the game rather than new functionality).

There was a time when microtransactions were considered a good alternative to monthly fees and other greedy developer cash-grab behaviors. The gaming industry, however, as well as the gamer community seems to be gravitating to a believe that microtransactions are just as bad as always-online DRM. What are your thoughts on this sweeping trend to charge for the “pretties” as one of my good friends would describe the scenario.

343 Industries has teamed up with Microsoft Game Studios once again to release the following Strategy Perdition video for the Halo 4 Castle Map Pack which is now available for purchase on the Xbox 360′s Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace.

Today TMP International and Spawn (The Home of McFARLANE Toys) has announced the  Unlockable Halo 4 DLC will  be sold with New Halo 4 Action Figures. These figures include Master Chief, Elite Ranger, Storm Jackal, Spartan Scout (Rust), Spartan C.I.O. (Violent), and will be released to stores in October. 343 Industries and Microsoft Game Studios will announce Halo 5 in the near future officially to formally reveal the title to continue the second trilogy that started with Halo 4.

Reports of the return of headless cheaters in Halo 4 have been popping up. Months ago there was an issue but they were banned quickly by 343. But it seems they have either returned, or someone else is doing the same thing. There have been full teams of headless players you easily win as they can not be shot in the head, and can’t die at all anyway usually. If these pictures aren’t old, which I doubt they are due to many reports, the 343 needs to find these people and do a clean up to keep the Halo 4 servers safe.

Starting on Monday, April 8th, each Halo 4 player will be assigned a separate, numbered, rank, from 1-50 that will go up and down based upon your performance in multiplayer, matchmaking, games. Similar to Halo 3 Ranked system in a way. 343 Industries explain how the ranks will be done by saying, “There are two different ways we calculate your CSR. CSR is closely based on your TrueSkill rank, which ensures that you’ll be ranked – and matched – against opponents of comparable skill. Your CSR is dependent upon your personal performance as well as the rank of those you play with. While several playlists will use a win/loss system to determine whether or not you rank up, others will use individual scoring, which will rank you based on your performance against everyone in the match, teammates included. In some playlists, you’ll rank up faster than others – these vary in order to create the most optimal experience for each playlist.” Individual scoring will be in play on Infinity Slayer, Big Team Infinity Slayer, Rumble Pit, Multi-Team, Team Action Sack, Flood, Team Snipers, Regicide, and SWAT. Team scoring will be used on Castle Team DLC, Team Objective, Capture the Flag, Dominion, Team Throwdown, Team Doubles, and Grifball. This Monday you will be able to see the new addition to the Halo 4 experience.

Halo 4 Forge Island Map is available ahead of it April 11th release date. You can download it by looking up Forge Island in Bing on xbox live cause you can not find it in the Halo 4 section. It is unknown why it released early but so far it looks better than Forge World.
