Valkyria Chronicles 4 Official RELEASE DATES:
Arguably one of the best turn-based strategy franchises ever to exist, Valkyria Chronicles will receive it’s fourth installment shooting to the Nintendo Switch next year. Playing on the go with one of the world’s most unique takes on the RPG genre, Valkyria Chronicles 4 on Nintendo Switch warrants one of SEGA’s most compelling partnerships with Nintendo to date. Gamers who rock a PlayStation 4 (and PS4Pro) or Xbox ONE (and Xbox ONE X) home console can also get in on the action.
Hopefully the fourth installment could also get a PC release date eventually. It’s likely that SEGA is attempting to garner all the console sales they can before allowing piracy to take its chunk out as it does with all titles that come to the PC platform (although not as badly since Steam continues to get better and easier to use as well as more and more popular). For that we don’t blame them but if the franchise can do well enough then a Steam version certainly should be in order some day – for a truly high quality version of the game.
As for me personally, I’m still enjoying Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on my PlayStation 4 Pro console. SEGA has launched an official website HERE which will continue to be updated with more Valkyria Chronicles 4 information, and above is their Full HD Announcement Trailer. Below are some Valkyria Chronicles 4 Official Screenshots:

Valkyria Chronicles 4 Features:
A Coming-of-Age Story in a Time of War – Valkyria Chronicles 4 takes place in the same time frame as the original Valkyria Chronicles, but focuses on a whole new cast of main characters. Players will take command of the eager, young Commander Claude Wallace, engineer/heavy weapons ‘extraordinaire’ Riley Miller, hotheaded Darcsen Raz, ice-cold ace sniper Kai Schulen, and more. Together, they will experience the painful realities of war–but will the bonds of Squad E’s friendships survive the frozen battlefield?
The Next Generation “BLiTZ” Battle System – The part overhead turn-based strategy, part RPG, and part real-time 3rd person shooter “BLiTZ” battle system returns to the field. New features include an explosive new class called the Grenadier, numerous offensive/defensive battleship support options, chances for a unit to have a “Last Stand” action before death, and more. Plus, fight the imperial threat with more units on larger-scale maps than ever before.
CANVAS Aesthetics – The series’ signature hand-drawn visual style is back and overhauled for the newest generation. Inspired by watercolor compositions, the CANVAS Graphics Engine blends visual elements of reality and imagination to create an expressive world filled with colorful emotions. Watch the journey of Squad E unfold like an interactive painting!
The Return of a Legendary Composer – The illustrious Hitoshi Sakimoto, original composer of the Valkyria Chronicles series and countless other emotional epics, returns to provide a sweeping orchestral soundtrack for the game.
*Update: Call of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies Private Beta
PS4: Aug. 25 – Aug. 28
PS4 & XBOX ONE: Sept. 01 – Sept. 04
Pre-Order purchases for Call of Duty: WWII will give players access to a Private Beta period of the Nazi Zombies mode which was world premiered this weekend by Activision and Sledgehammer Games. The Private Beta begins on August 25, 2017 on PlayStation 4 and other platforms “to follow” …meaning you’ll have to wait a little bit if you aren’t playing on PS4. The fine print states that the minimum time the exclusivity of the Pre-Order Beta period will run is for 3 days and that dates and time frames are all subject to change, as with most beta testing. The full beta will probably run a bit longer than that, likely with pre-order folks gaining access to later waves of the Beta – details of which will follow in the coming weeks at COD Beta website.
COD:WWII releases November 3, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox ONE, and Windows PC via Steam and features a full campaign story mode, multiplayer war mode, division mode, headquarters mode, and the recently revealed Nazi Zombies mode below.

A stark contrast to the recent controversy of missing Nazi symbolism in the WWII multiplayer, the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: WWII will have no hesitation in featuring such, let’s hope that means we’re getting a semi-authentic story mode campaign as well. A group of brothers in arms and even a female soldier are also confirmed among the supporting characters for the title, and will perhaps serve as a temporary protagonists during certain acts or period of the game’s story-line as seen often in the COD series. This game is based on the United States Army’s 1st Infantry division operations in Europe and selects 1945 as its setting with a lead character who is a young soldier coming to grips with war named Ronald “Red” Daniels.
Friday The 13th: The Game finally has an official release date. It’ll be coming out on May 26th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC for the price of $39.99. It” launch with the multiplayer suite, with the singleplayer coming later at no additional fee.
Creative Assembly and 343 have made a statement regarding the upcoming Colony DLC for Halo Wars 2. The statement follows “… a cheap exploit that would immediately result in some really bad game experiences and [a] whole lot of salt from players on the receiving end.” The bug is game breaking it seems, hopefully it gets resolved soon. Stay tuned at RGN.
The free games with gold for May have been announced here they all are listed below. Two Star Wars games, in honor of the celebration, and maybe hinting and what we could see at E3 for Star Wars titles. Likely we will see a Lego Star Wars The Last Jedi.
If players are unsatisfied with a purchase on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox ONE they may soon be able to claim a refund for it. The system for Xbox ONE Digital Game Refunds as revealed by Microsoft looks to mirror a similar service PC Gaming experiences through Steam Refunds introduced in recent years by Valve. Xbox ONE gamers will be able to request the refund of a digital games purchase, if it was purchased within the past 14 days and has been played for less than 2 hours.
Windows 10 Game Purchases on the Microsoft Store will also be given the ability for users to request a “self-service refund” if the title has not been extensively played. This will be a key victory for users wishing to test if their Gaming PC will run a Microsoft Store exclusive game well enough for them to justify owning it, otherwise they can request a refund and delete it if their rig fails to run the game at an acceptable level of performance.
