Mega Man 11 Announced w/ Gameplay Trailer and Release Date Target

A true Gamers’ Game, Mega Man 11 has been announced and detailed in gameplay trailer by Capcom – one of our nominee companies for ‘Biggest Comeback’ award. Some have even said this is a fans’ next best chance at something The Mighty No. 9 may not have satisfied in their itch for the blue bomber to return.

Producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya and Capcom’s Mega Man team have created the game with a sense of what worked and didn’t work in Mega Man 10. Focus on classics, particularly Mega Man 2, is also at the forefront of design for this title. Dr. Wily is at it again!

  • Gears Below Health / Weapon Gauges are part of a brand-new gameplay system, yet-to-be revealed. Stay Tuned!

“The special Nintendo Direct presentation highlighted many of the game’s new features, new weapons, new locations and, most importantly for all the fashion-forward cephalopods out there, its fresh new styles. The video also touched on SplatNet 2, the new service for mobile devices that displays information about Splatoon 2 like stage schedules, gear and stats. SplatNet 2 is part of the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app launching on July 21, which lets players send multiplayer invites to their friends via social media, as well as enables the use of voice chat in battles.”

Switch is Nintendo’s Chance to Redeem the Mario Party Franchise

Nintendo Switch - Mario Party 11 - Mario Party 3 - RealGamerNewZ

We aren’t going to see a GameCube mini classic edition come out anytime soon, so let’s get Luigi’s Mansion, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader and some more N64 content on Virtual Console. There are tons of games on GameCube. I feel like it’s really one of the biggest games in Nintendo history.

Thank you everyone who tuned into my Crash Bandicoot Livestream today, by the way. It’s always appreciated!

Nintendo Switch - Star Wars Rogue Squadron II Rogue Leader - GameCube VC Virtual Console 2017

Nintendo must understand that the Switch NEEDS “A GOOD” Mario Party 11, “A SOLID” Smash Bros. entry, “A GOOD” Virtual Console. We also need some new tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, perhaps some light DLC, perhaps for its Battle Mode. Star Fox 2 being included on the SNES Mini as well as the quality of the overall lineup in general give the gaming industry hope that Nintendo is getting even greater at what they do despite past criticisms.

Nintendo is just sitting on a gold mine with excellent mini-game concepts going unused from Mario Party 1, 2, 3, Game & Watch, Warioware, etc. and I fear the legacy of Mario Party as a franchise is in danger after the release of Mario Party 10 didn’t quite fit the bill. This opportunity is a huge chance for Nintendo to prove this trend of success with Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in fact not a fluke and that they are back on track to giving gamers what they love most. Now is the chance to redeem Mario Party and show fans you know how to treat their beloved franchises.

Until next time this is Josh Ehresmann AKA YodaThe3rd your RealGamerNewZ Public Relations Editor signing off.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – The Master Trials Review

maxresdefault (12)

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – The Master Trials DLC is the first DLC apart of the Expansion Pass. It is more of a simple DLC, giving you some armor and weapons, but the main draw here is the new Master Mode and The Trial of the Sword challenge mode. The question is, is it worth the asking price?

Now the main draw is the Trial of the Sword. Which can be described as one of the best additions I have ever seen added to a game post launch. Similar to a trial in the main game on an island, Trial of the Sword takes away all of your gear and equipment, making things tense. Although your runes do remain intact. You fight through floors of enemies, going through obstacles and challenges that can make anyone want to quit. But if you stick with it and manage to conquer the Trial of the Sword, your Master Sword will have something special happen to it. Sorry no spoilers here.

Now for some of these little side add-ons here. We have the travel medallion that allows you to make your current location a place to where you teleport to. So you need to get back to a specific area later but you don’t have the correct gear? No problem use the travel medallion. The Korok Mask allows you to see Koroks and find them easier, still won’t make me find all 900 though. Misko’s Treasure is a side quest which involves you finding all of the DLC’s outfits such as Majora’s Mask. The new armor is appreciated and I am glad you have to go on quest to find them. Hero’s Path Mode lets you see the progress you have made through the world, seeing your previous footsteps, allowing some help if you get lost. Last but not least Master Mode. Which makes the game much harder. Mixes up enemy placement, adds new enemies to the world, let’s them regenerate health, and more. The game is certainly much more of a challenge which I love.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – The Master Trials DLC is a great addition to the game. The main draw here is the Trial of the Sword, and Master Mode, which both increase re-play ability. I am fine with the rest of the additions but once you get the armor and other little add-ons there’s not much outside of that. I would hope for the next DLC to have some more meaningful story quest, but this DLC is worth it I would say. The Master Trials gets a 8 out of 10. Now bring on Splatoon 2.
