The King’s Row Uprising in game event starts tomorrow, being described as backstory for the game, instead of a holiday event. But it seems the costumes from the Uprising prequel comic may have made it’s way into the game, with a leak via Xbox Live. I’d say more than likely these skins are real but don’t get too excited, but it matches up with the in game event and the comic book. We will have to wait for official word or just see what happens tomorrow.
The voice actress Alix Wilton Regan has recently hinted at the possibility of Dragon Age 4. Of course we all knew BioWare would create a follow up to Dragon Age Inquisition, but no time frame. But if voice acting is already happening, it could be coming sooner than we think. See the below picture to see what she teased the fans, she was one of the voices for the Female Inquisitor in Dragon Age Inquisition, and also Samantha Traynor in Mass Effect 3.
Miyazaki, the mind behind the Souls series, has stated on his twitter that the series is done for now. ” Dark Souls series is completely done as of DS3: The Ringed City. At least for now we don’t have any future plans for it.” He went on to say “Currently working on a number of games that should be interesting. We’re not concerned about whether they resemble DS or not.” So it is clear they are putting their focus into new games, possibly a different genre of games. The rumors still exist around the potienal of Dark Souls on the Switch, and the potential Bloodborne 2 for the PlayStation 4, but these remain rumors of as of this article. In terms of the rumors surrounding the series being ported to the Switch, if we don’t see or hear anything by E3 it likely won’t happen, but Bloodborne 2 may be a different story. Only time will tell, but we will cover the story if any further developments happen in the future.
Destiny 2 may launch on September 8, according to a poster for the game that has of course appeared on reddit and at the Italian gaming site named Lega. In an earnings call earlier this year, Activision stated the game is coming out in 2017 but no release date, or time frame. The first game came out back in September of 2014, and many of Bungie’s past games such as Halo 3 and Halo Reach have also released in the September time frame. Time will tell if this rumor holds true but we will cover any future updates on this.
We know nothing about Red Dead Redempiton 2 aside from the first trailer they released, and the fall release window. But a U.K. retailer may have leaked what the planned release date is. Take this with a grain of salt, despite leaks in the past from have proven to be true but it’s still simply a rumor. The date Base.com has listed is September 26th, this does fall in line with a planned fall release, so it’s a plausible date. Rockstar has only left some vague comments, so maybe it’s not too far off, and I am sure within the next 3 months we will know when this coming out. Stay tuned as we cover Red Dead Redemption 2.
Update: The Game has been delayed.
Today is a huge day for gaming news as not only did Nintendo wrap up their quarterly business announcements (more on that soon) but also leaks of large description are working their way down the pipeline. A fourth Modern Warfare title has been heavily rumored for years, but Infinity Ward / Sledgehammer / RavenSoft have yet to discuss much of anything regarding their next title instead opting to allow Treyarch’s critically acclaimed Black Ops III to take the spotlight.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is one of the first shooters that brought the 90’s golden era of fast-paced online FPS style gaming and married it with a light offering of RPG features from the MMO world such as levelling up, gaining experience, unlocking abilities, weapons, customizations, prestige, and more. History was changed the day that game was released, and even though a lot of COD’s ideas had been done before in other games (on PC) – COD did them all in such a universal package (and on console). Now it seems like everyone can pick up and play a shooter game and COD4 / MW2 are both largely to thank for this.
Believe it or not, fans have been dying for a Remaster of Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. Today we have learned that the name of the next Call of Duty title is Infinite Warfare and it will include a remastered Modern Warfare campaign as well as somehow integrate maps from the original titles into the multiplayer content.
The source of this leak comes from Target as retailers seem to be making fumbles all over today. Amazon accidently told customers they would be getting Uncharted 4 “by 8pm today” even though it had been delayed 2 weeks further by an announcement Naughty Dog / Sony made a month ago. Target sent out the Reservation Card above and Reddit is going wild with it opening up their own subreddit for the title as well called /r/InfiniteWarfare for those who wish to participate.
It is not yet known how exactly the maps from MW1 and MW2 will be included in multiplayer, or if both games and MW3 will get campaign makeovers versus just COD4 taking the primary focus. All of these questions will likely start being answered once a bit more Black Ops III DLC has sold and Activision starts ramping up for E3 2016.
However, it does appear to be safe to say (strictly in conjecture) that Activision seems to be creating Infinite Warfare as a bundle / collection first, and secondly as a platform for releasing new maps and remaining alive for a very long time after release rather than being left behind as quickly as most COD multiplayer segments are.
Update #2: Amazon has leaked the product as well for a time period before removing the listing. An official announcement is expected soon with detailed reveals as early as June 2016 at E3 or sooner.
Update: It appears that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been leaked in multiple places, “A menu spotted by a Reddit user and verified by GameSpot briefly displayed the rumored title before being removed. Activision has not made any announcements about the next “Call of Duty” game” announced Facebook’s trending topic team. [s]
Update: This rumor came true! Capcom announced at E3 2016 that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be Virtual Reality enabled on PlayStation 4 and launches January 28, 2017. The game will be playable with or without VR and a demo is already available on the PlayStation Store.
See video footage below of the demo in action:
With recent hardships quelling and productivity returning at the house of Capcom, gamers are about to get hit with a dose of Biohazard. Umbrella Corps for Windows PC and Sony PlayStation 4, the RE: Outbreak reminiscent multiplayer cousin of the survival horror experience we all know stateside as Resident Evil is releasing mid-June. This release is perhaps tolerated at best, feared by many and unexpected by some. While fans of the modern RE titles and those gamers with an open mind to experimentation will likely find some hours of fun in the title, the question we all want to know is: Where’s Resident Evil 7?
A source asking to remain anonymous once told RGN, “-wait until you see what they’ve been working on, you’ll see they’ve been busy,” in regards to a full entry in the Resident Evil series that can match the elements of what make the series great again in a modern age epic masterpiece which all RE fans feel has potential.

Imagine seeing first-hand the world of Resident Evil with full immersion.
This source has been valid for many years disseminating information where fit and gave advance notice of the PS4K verified with worldwide leaks that have hit these past weeks. The following information has been provided over a long term span of time and may be subject to change as the project moved forward.
What we can expect from Resident Evil 7’s design aspects, and technical features:
- Explore, aim, shoot
- Less of a run and gun, more cinematic
- Teach players a new format for how to enjoy horror and stealth shooter genres in VR
- Marriage of Survival Horror and Stealth
- True to the roots of Resident Evil series
- Immersion as a first priority, Action still remains but is better balanced
- PlayStation VR Headset support for virtual reality immersion
- NEO (aka PS4K) settings support for higher resolutions of gameplay.
Umbrella Corps is set in 2015 after the events of Resident Evil 6 (perhaps the most hated game in the whole series) and provides a competitive multiplayer angle to the series. These side-content online experiences such as Mercenaries from RE4 and RE5 have always been a big hit. RE: Outbreak was respected in its own right as a standalone spin-off that only worked with a modem in the back of your PlayStation 2. The epic struggle for numbered franchise entries has always been to balance the classic survival horror feel with the shooter action pacing introduced in RE4. That isn’t required of Umbrella Corps, but it is of RE7, hence a lot of the anxiety in the Resident Evil fan-base over which development path the game is taking.
In comes PlayStation VR, capable of bringing virtual reality to the 30 million+ PlayStation 4 owners [s] and PlayStation NEO (also known as PS4.5 or PS4K) which was recently leaked after heavy rumors began to circulate as a rendition of PlayStation 4 capable of higher VR and HDTV settings including games at 1080P / 60fps and higher with upscaling to 4KTV sets. Although native graphics of the NEO setting on PS4 games from its release onwards will still be higher than PS4, they will likely not reach 4K on graphic-intensive experiences like Uncharted 4. The great news with that is PS4 games still work on both a NEO and PS4 the same way, the game would just have two different settings. to switch between.
All of this new technology is right on time to make the biggest difference in the world for some of our stale franchises too scared to change without time left to stay the same and tread water. Resident Evil is certainly one of those franchises. And so it should be as of no surprise that Capcom could be working to get things right with RE7 for the series, what their fans want in a true RE game, and the future of the video games experience.
This rumor comes at a time when titles like Madden VR are being discussed (Shouts Out EA Sports and HipHopGamer Inc., and Ubiquity Inc.) and true adoption of the PSVR seems destined. Capcom is already onboard with VR technology and has experimented with Resident Evil in many genres; Resident Evil: Dead Aim is a little known gem in the series (if you had the GunCon 2 pistol controller with thumbstick) which could be a pre-amble on what these design specs mean for Resident Evil 7. Recently Sony announced there were more pre-orders than expected and had to double production output to meet the newly visible demand for PSVR units.
Earlier rumors some years ago conflict with this news saying that Microsoft had attempted to approach Capcom with a deal for RE7 similar to the Dead Rising 3 contract agreement. With so much time being passed, and RE7 being a flagship entry in the series – it would appear this never materialized making this rumor all the more likely that RE7 will support PS4K and the PlayStation 4 VR headset whenever it is eventually revealed and heads toward launch. The wait could still be years.
RGN has reached out to Capcom representatives and will update this story when / if this rumor is confirmed or denied.
While Activision still hasn’t confirmed the existence of PlatinumGames’ rumored TMNT title, more evidence has surfaced suggesting validity to these claims. The incredibly reliable Xboxachievements has revealed the achievement list for TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan.
The list which features a total of 50 achievements can be seen below.
Though the list looks pretty believable, until Acitivision confirms this game please take this all with a grain of salt.
Street Fighter V’s next brand new character has been leaked ahead of the Brazil Game Show reveal. Famitsu’s website featured several images of Laura who apparently utilizes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to take down her opponents. Check em out.
Stay tuned for an official reveal and trailer. Street Fighter V is scheduled for a spring 2016 release on PS4 and PC.
A Collector’s Edition like no other, The Call of Duty: Black Ops III: Jugger-nog Edition will feature its own specialized weapon packs including new camo and cyborg additions, a bonus zombie map called “The Giant”, a fully working mini fridge, modeled after the in-game Jugger-nog machine complete with light and sounds from the game, and holding 12 cans of your favorite beverage, the Black Ops III Season Pass, and the Official Game Soundtrack.
As for where this info all comes from, this leak was initially generated from a rumor online started by the professional Call of Duty eSports Clan OpTic Gaming and GameInformer took things a step further claiming to have verified this information first-hand with their own trustworthy sources regarding Call of Duty material one would assume. Many other publications such as GamesRadar are also reporting on this, and although that doesn’t necessarily give more credibility to the leak – it appears to be a logical offering for Call of Duty collectors who were planning on getting the Season Pass anyways.
The Season Pass being included in this as well as the extra personalization packs are also increasing the price a huge amount, but needed to be in there since collectors want a one quick purchase option. The mini-fridge is a bit smaller than some people will like, but I think this is by design to make it a more attractive collectible and art piece and less of an engineering project. Keep it close to your gaming chair and it should do great at keeping the game drinks cold.
The Bonus Zombies Map, Perk-A-Cola Cup Holders, and Mini Fridge are likely going to be a real draw for those who want to pick up this package. Black Ops III will have its Zombies mode revealed in full this week, and are expected to reveal this Jugger-nog Edition with more official details and confirmations at San Diego Comic Con. Anticipation for the game is high as fans of the series from different points of view seem to all be converging on Treyarch knowing that the past few COD games haven’t had as much time in the oven as Black Ops III.
Through the Australian rating system for video games the media has been given a taste of what could be coming for gamers on Xbox soon. The Nintendo Wii U exclusive game ZombiU in which Ubisoft Montpellier directs a compelling survival experience of a unique flavor will make its way to the Microsoft Xbox ONE at some point. There’s some amount of speculation around the fact that Ubisoft also registered a mark ‘Zombi’ back in 1986, but that may or may not be related to this.
Not much else is known at this point unfortunately, but original rumors aside it will be interesting to see how the game is adapted to the XO platform .
