The Witcher 3 Gets New Trailer & Screenshots of Monsters, Crafting, World Map, and Gameplay

The Witcher 3 Crafting Menu

Take an early look at the bestiary, crafting menu, overworld map, and battle gameplay of one of the most sought after games of the year and by far the biggest release coming to gamers this month. The Witcher is a series that gives players an open world without ignoring character development and actually has a meaningful story. Geralt, the main character of the original Witcher games, will see a conclusion to his saga throughout what the developer is calling a “200 hour experience” with over 30 hours of additional DLC to be launched in later expansions.

The open world of The Witcher 3 is said to be filled with plenty to do and interesting moments that are now or never for players to decide the morality of Geralt in his final chapter. Beyond this, gameplay elements have been reportedly enhanced and fine tuned – not to mention graphics. Although the game is likely being developed with Windows PC as the lead platform based on the past experience of the developer and the series itself, CD Projekt RED has stated that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox ONE versions of the game have been fine tuned to bring the most out of current console gaming technology.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt heads for release a couple of weeks from now (May 19, 2015) and the anticipation is growing as CD Projekt RED crosses the finish line for development on what is expected to be a masterpiece entry to the Action RPG genre. Simultaneously timed with the release of New Info for GOG Galaxy (the DRM-Free alternative to Steam which CD Projekt RED created themselves), a new trailer has been released showing off the Monsters of The Witcher 3.

Two New Screens from The Evil Within: The Consequence feature a Familiar Area

With a little less than a week to go before its release, more screenshots have surfaced for The Evil Within’s second story DLC. The two new screens (Above and below), feature protagonist Juli Kidman over looking a ruined Krimson City.

Kidman still seems to be armed with only her trusty flashlight and nothing else.

The Evil Within: The Consequence will release on April 21, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. You can read our review of part-one, ‘The Assignment’ here.

Prepare to Relive Old Memories in The Evil Within’s Second DLC

Bethesda continues to provide The Evil Within fans, with more content for its next DLC. Over on Facebook, they have released yet another screenshot for ‘The Consequence’, the finale to Juli Kidman’s story. In the screen below, Kidman is seen inside of an office with the following caption:

“Relive the memories of the good ‘ole times in ‪#‎TheConsequence‬

Over on twitter, fans were treated to a brief clip of one of the game’s terrifying enemies. Apparently The Consequence “may cause nightmares”. It might even cause seizures, honestly.

The Evil Within: The Consequence will release on April 21, 2015 for PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. It is included in the season pass for $19.99, but can also be purchased separately for $9.99. You can read our review of part-one, ‘The Assignment’, here.

Grand Theft Auto V Can Achieve 4K Graphics on PC Easier Than Expected

1---Grand Theft Auto V PC Screenshot 17

Ultra High Resolution can be achieved with less horsepower than you think. Of course, those looking to pull off 4K at 60 frames per second better have some sort of high-end setup with SLI or Crossfire pitting the strength of 2 or more very capable graphics cards together for such a task. But the game can be played at 4K resolution with 30 frames per second on a GTX 760 with just 2GB of VRAM assuming the rest of the console is good enough. Buttery smooth 60 frames per second at 1080P or 1440P will be expected if users are sporting the latest line of NVIDIA GTX 960, GTX 970, or GTX 980 graphics cards and have the rest of their parts reasonably decent.

Grand Theft Auto V is still available for Pre-Order on PC through Steam and doing so will gain you over a million in currency for both the single player game as well as GTA Online. The following screenshots have been released by Rockstar Games showing off just how much the PC version differs from its console counterparts in terms of fine detail and texture resolution.

In addition, Rockstar Games has stated that many options are available in the PC version allowing for extreme tweaking so that all machines of various capability can find their perfect balance between frames per second and texture detail among many other factors. This should be promising, players have been waiting patiently for the PC version for a very long time and if all goes according to plan they will be able to ensure a smooth and optimal performance thanks to the changes that were made during the delays.

Grand Theft Auto V Releases on PC Tuesday April 14, 2015.
