Metal Gear Online 3 Beta Info Leaks and Forward Operating Base Cheats

Hacking, Glitching, Cheating, it’s all been done before and it’s happening again to Forward Operating Base mode in Metal Gear Solid V by Hideo Kojima, Kojima Productions, and maintained by publisher Konami. The full Metal Gear Online 3 mode will be released in a matter of weeks (October 2015) on PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox ONE, and Xbox 360 versions of the game with the PC version receiving its online mode during January 2016, but Forward Operating Base is out now and reports are coming in as to the problems online cheats have already posed to its deployment.

The Forward Operating Base Cheat involves a hack which is being distributed online allowing players to become invulnerable in the competitive player vs. player gameplay. Obviously this completely disrupts the fun factor of a competitive multiplayer game and can have huge impact on the player count in the form of a herd of players quitting due to being cheated and hacked out of wins or even a fair shot. The hope is that a patch will be released to address this software which may also have effects on the story mode of Metal Gear Solid V itself.

Metal Gear Online 3 Beta Info:

– Level 10 Maximum Cap

– Ascension

– Matchmaking, with full Host / Join features

Ironically enough, this information comes from the behest of hackers who have lifted details about the coming release from the files of Metal Gear Solid V on Windows PC. Credit goes to MGOLeague for the initial report.

Official Confirmation from Konami is expected to release in the next week or two.

Killzown’s Top 5 Most Anticipated E3 2014 Games

Its that time of year again, E3 2014 is nearly upon us and the hype is at an all time high. There are so many games that have already been officially announced, some that have been teased and some that have been that rumored to make their debut next week during the E3 press conferences and gamers will have to wait until next week to see what all is revealed. There have been a few games that have really captured my attention and in this list I will detail what games will be on my radar next at E3 2014.

Mortal Kombat X

The iconic fighting series is back for another round in Mortal Kombat X which is set to debut next year on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Netherrealm Studios promises to push the limits of their engine on the next gen hardware and improve on the fighting formula of MK9 to bring fighting games fan the best MK experience ever. If the trailer is any indication the action will be even more visceral, intense, and of course gory but it is not clear if this footage in game or just cinematic but Lead Designer and MK Co-creator Ed Boon has said the gameplay will be revealed at E3 next week.

Sunset Overdrive

Insomniac Games recently released a trailer for their Xbox One exclusive “Sunset Overdrive” a world filled with Zombies, Super Powers and Energy Drinks. This amazing open world title blends elements of Infamous, Borderlands, and Saints Row for a completely new and innovative gameplay experience. Players can create weapons, upgrade their powers and use the environment to dispatch enemies and access new areas. This game should be on everyone’s radar and it will be interesting to see what Insomniac will reveal from the game at E3.

The Order 1866

When Ready At Dawn shown off the demo for last E3 for The Order 1866 gamers were skeptical to their claims that the game will be a truly cinematic experience. There were many critics who also refuted this claim until the developers released a snippet of gameplay footage teasing their E3 presentation. The gameworld, the setting, the characters all blend seamlessly together and from the looks of it Ready At Dawn is maximizing the full power of the Playstation 4 hardware. The Order 1866 is a game to watch out for and maybe be one of the greatest games in Playstation history.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is not only one of the most anticipated games at this years E3 but one of the most anticipated games of all time. Kojima Productions let gamers get their hands dirty with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros which ended on a cliffhanger and this new entry will no doubt be a series defining moment in the MGS franchise and bridge the gap with die-hard fans and newcomers a like. This game is also rumored to fully reveal the origin of Solid Snake as well as the fall of Big Boss. The gameplay footage that had been shown at last years E3 wooed gamers everywhere and with Kiefer Sutherland take up the role of Punished Snake the game looks on track to be a classic.

Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS

Super Smash Bros returns for both the Wii U and this time to the 3DS bringing with it series mainstays like Mario, Link, DK and Bowser as well as newcomers such as Lil Mack, Megaman and even the Wii Fit Trainer. Nintendo along with Bandai Namco look to bring Nintendo’s fighter to the forefront of the community as for too long it was overlooked by the FGC at large and put on hold by Nintendo’s Streaming policies in the past. The game also is breaking new ground being on two platforms at once and being mobile for the first time in Smash history is a plus in itself as Super Smash Bros 3DS will get players ready for the main game launching this winter. Nintendo is even manufacturing a controller port for the Wii U to use Gamecube controllers and making a new Smash branned controller as well to give Smash Vets something familiar and something that will not break their training regimen as well as as give all players an extra option when playing the game.

Konami Confirms – Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes 720P For Xbox ONE, 1080P For PlayStation 4

Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes PS4 1080P Xbone 720P

Just after comments were recently published by series creator Hideo Kojima that PS4 can render 1080P graphics at 60 frames per second without breaking a sweat, Konami has revealed that the Xbox ONE version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will run at 60 frames per second but will only feature 720P graphics resolution while the PlayStation 4 version of the game is sporting Full 1080P High Definition graphics and still maintaining the 60 frames per second refresh rate.

For those who are planning to play the game on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 consoles – the PS3 / 360 version has been confirmed to be running a 720P resolution at 30 frames per second refresh rate. This is makes the fifth Metal Gear Solid game the most recent in a string of titles that will be played with better graphics on PS4 than Xbox ONE supporting arguments that Sony PS4’s hardware setup is superior to Microsoft’s X1 architecture in terms of producing next-generation graphics advancements.

While this announcement is sure to fuel the fire of fanboy wars and tech debate, the publisher has spoken and the final game is indeed going to be running with better graphics on PlayStation 4. A Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 5 PS4 was also announced to be launching in Japan called the FOX EDITION (as pictured below).

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will release on March 18, 2014 in North America and on March 20, 2014 in Europe.

Here is a link to Konami’s confirmation of these specs for skeptics.

Luke’s Impressions of the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes English Trailer

So what did you guys think about the new Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes trailer?? Well yes, it’s the same one shown last year at the VGA Awards – but this time in English!!! As I heard Keefer Sutherland’s voice mutter them famous words “Kept you waiting, Huh”, I was in awe.

For me he nailed it but many would disagree and that’s fine because not all of the voice acting in this trailer is perfect. Skullface, the mysterious new Protagonist with a Burnt face and rocking a badazz duster-coat, really got me excited because if there’s one thing Kojima knows how to do it’s to make the best villains in the business. So I was awaiting to see what voice he would hold, and as it turns out it sounds nothing like his character and to be honest. I was quite disappointed in this. The other voice is a familiar one – Kaz, who still has the same voice actor Robin Atkin Downes which I was more than happy with.

All in all the voice acting in my opinion was great except for Skullface but who knows, I may be wrong because not much of the Trailer shows him talking.

Please – if you haven’t gone and checked out the trailer I advise you to check it out HERE, yes it’s the same trailer but it gives us a taste of what is to come and at first it may sound weird hearing Keefer corrupt our beloved snake’s voice but I couldn’t have picked a better voice for snake. You can tell he cares about the character which is what the Metal Gear series needs. There is also a new direct feed demo of the game HERE without the Japanese commentary nor the bad feed and also the sounds of the game are much louder in this one.
