VVvsEC

How you doin?!! The latest WWE 2K16 gameplay video features two of NXT’s most entertaining Tag Teams — the Vaudevillains Simon Gotch and Aiden English, taking on the realest guys in the room, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy.

Can Enzo and Cass put away the current NXT Tag Team Champs?

WWE 2K16 launches on October 27 for current gen and last gen consoles.

Sting Battles Seth Rollins in Latest WWE 2K16 Video

StingvSeth

Another day, another WWE 2K16 gameplay video. This time WCW Legend Sting faces off against the current WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion, Seth Rollins.

It’s great to see Seth’s old finisher — the “Curb Stomp”, is still in this year’s WWE title. Now if they could just stop calling it the “piece of mind”, that would be great.

WWE 2K16 will launch on October 27 for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Here’s the Full Lineup of WWE 2K16’s Roster

American-Bad-Ass-Undertaker

With the final batch of wrestlers revealed — via IGN, the WWE 2K16 roster sits at a whopping 123! Pre-ordering the game will increase the roster to 124, as players will receive Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic Terminator character as a bonus.

We’ve gone ahead and compiled the entire roster — which features a mix of WWE wrestlers, NXT upstarts and Legends, for your viewing pleasure. Sadly the likes of Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Charlotte and current NXT Women’s Champ Bayley didn’t make the cut. Did any of your favorites?

WWE 2K16 Cover to be Revealed Next Week

2K16_character_art_rollins-3663283422

One of the many things WWE fans look forward to, is which wrestler will be featured on the cover of the next WWE video game. Well thanks to a tweet sent out by the WWE 2K developer, fans now know when to expect a reveal. All they have to do, is tune into WWE RAW on Monday July 6 to see. My money is on the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins (Seen above).

WWE 2K16’s Roster of Over 120 Characters Will Ship on Disc

2K16_character_art_paige-3972582330

When the first six superstars/diva were announced for the WWE 2K16 roster, the game’s developer promised it would have the “largest roster ever” in a WWE videogame. Not everyone was buying into the tagline, so the devs took to instagram to offer some clarification, stating the 120+ playable Superstars and Divas will all have unique models.

“For anyone doubting the ”largest roster ever” tag line for WWE 2k16, let us assure you, that we are bringing over 120 unique playable Superstars and Divas to the game. Now when we say unique, we’re not counting the repeats like 5 John Cena models, or 8 Mark Henry models. As you can imagine, these models are keeping us crazy busy, but it is worth it. #wwe2k16largestrostereve”

Due to the practice of releasing playable characters post launch as DLC, it is no surprise that some would assume the 120+ player count also includes whatever downloadable characters they may release. A tweet was sent out from the devs’ official twitter account to put an end to those assumptions. The 120+ unique models are on the disc and will ship with the game.

This is great news for those who were worried, that they may only end up with half that number come launch day.

WWE 2K16 will launch on October 27, 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Find out When You Can Learn of WWE 2K15’s Full Roster, Plus Details on the Digital Versions

triple-h-le-marteleur

Back in August of this year, 2K Games revealed the roster for its upcoming WWE 2K15 video game. Much to the ire of many fans, it wasn’t a full reveal as many superstars where excluded. Since then more have been confirmed; from NXT superstars, Adrian Neville and Cory Graves to the Ultimate Warrior. Though other superstars and divas such as Adam Rose and Paige have been confirmed as DLC. That still leaves many fans wondering, the identity of the remaining superstars and divas to fill up the remaining rosters spots at launch.

Well wonder no more as 2K Games has revealed that fans will have to wait, until they get their hands on the game to find out who else is included. They want it to be a surprise you see.

Other info regarding the game’s roster that should make fans breath a little easier, is that the rosters are identical between the last-gen and current gen versions of the game. The only difference being the General Managers featured in ‘MyCareer’ mode. This story mode that stars the player’s created superstar is exclusive to PS4 and Xbox One versions. So even though 360 and PS3 owners won’t be able to play every game mode, at least they won’t miss out on playable characters.

2K Games has also gone ahead and offered clarification on digital versions of the game and DLC:

  • Xbox 360 version will be available for purchase in all XBL regions (Excluding Japan) on “their specific announced release date”.
  • The PS3 version will be available for purchase on October 28 via PSN
  • Players should be able to pre-order the Xbox One version on November 4 (Subject to change)
  • PS4 owners who preload the game, will have it unlocked at midnight PST on November 18
  • With the exception of Sting (Pre-order), Hogan (Hulkamania Edition), Accelerator and Season Pass, none of the DLC is on disc

WWE 2K15 releases on October 28, 2014 for PS3 and Xbox 360, November 18 for Xbox One and PS4.

WWE 2K15 Achievements Leaked: Ultimate Warrior and NXT Superstars Confirmed

RandyO

The achievements and ultimately trophies for 2K game’s upcoming wrestling title have been leaked online. While many of them are repeats from previous WWE games, there are a few that reveal some interesting info. ‘The Road to Wrestlemania’ achievement features a picture of the late Ultimate Warrior as its thumbnail. The picture is undoubtedly an in-game shot of the WWE Hall of Famer which pretty much confirms his inclusion in the game. Last month 2K revealed a portion of the game’s roster, with promises of a full reveal soon.

A few brand new achievements confirm the inclusion of the WWE’s developmental brand, NXT. The thumbnails feature in-game shots of rising NXT superstars Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn. I’m sure the game will feature more than just those two as the ‘Foundation of the Future’ achievements alludes to a game mode of some sorts called ‘Proving Ground’.

You can view the full list below but take not that this is the Xbox 360 achievement list and ultimately the PS3 trophy list, minus the platinum of course. The Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will feature an exclusive career mode staring players’ created superstars and there is no doubt have achievements/trophies tied to it. So expect the current gen versions to have a slightly different list.
