Looks like Naruto fans have one more game in the Ninja Storm series, to look forward to next year. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has been announced in the latest issue of Shonen Jump.
The scan below — acquired and translated by shonengamez, reveals NS4 as “The Final Form of The Naruto Storm Series”. Based on the scan it seems the game’s story will kick things off with the Fourth Great Ninja, and fans will finally play through it to the very end. The Naruto manga series came to end ( Them feels!) last month, so the developers are finally able to deliver the true ending and not an alternate one. An older Naruto from The Last: Naruto the Movie, will join the game’s roster.
Surprisingly the game is only listed as a PlayStation 4 title. This means NS4 is either a PS4 console exclusive (Like SFV), or it could just the Japanese version, as the Xbox One isn’t doing so hot overseas. Keep in mind the ‘Ultimate Ninja’ series originated on the PlayStation 2, with ‘Ultimate Ninja Storm’ debuting on PS3, before going multiplatform with Naruto: UNS2.
A playable demo for the game will be available at next year’s Jump Fiesta. So if you happen to be in Japan next year around that time, you can try it out for yourself.
Stay tuned to RGN for more info as it is revealed.
