One of my favorite games of all time was Warriors of Might & Magic on the PlayStation 2. Sure, it was ahead of its time and games like Oblivion would later go on to realize something close to its ultimate vision – but did you know that the entire Might & Magic role playing game franchise is actually spanning many classic games from as far back as 1986 when Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum was released as one of the first RPG video games (eventually reaching Apple II, Mac, MS-DOS, Commodore 64, NES, MSX, PC-Engine, and then many more platforms subsequently).
If you keep an eye on our RGN FB Social Feed you may have noticed that Ubisoft brought out Heroes of Might & Magic III – HD Edition for Steam just the other day and it is now available for purchase. We did some looking around and got our hands on over 30 minutes of footage courtesy of TouchGameplay on YouTube who calls this particular Might & Magic title ‘the most popular in the series’ though I would gamble everyone has their own tastes. Check out the footage below and let us know if you’ll be going back in time with us to experience this piece of RPG history.
