Dead Island: Epidemic is available on Steam Early Access and although the final build will be free-to-play, you have to pay to get in for now. This does come with perks exclusively for those who paid called the Steam Early Access Starter Kit. And once the Open Beta hits more content will be added to the game, some of which will not be free unless you buy in now.
We here at RGN came together to do a first hand impressions video + article (view that here) and will be doing more soon. But if you didn’t know, gamers can actually download the title right now completely free and keep their copy of it even after this free weekend ends. Stunlock Studios created this title for Deep Silver as a combination of top-down RPG, brutal zombie action using enemies and weapons from the Dead Island franchise, as well as elements from the rising MOBA genre to create what they call the world’s first ZOMBA (Zombies Online Multiplayer Battle Arena) containing many various modes of play that just get bigger and bigger as the title’s development moves forward.
If you want to get this Early Access for free, hurry up though. You only have until the end of this weekend. So do it now at the link below. You won’t regret it, after all it’s free. By the way, Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide are also on sale at the same time for 75% off each. The DLC packs for Epidemic are on sale for 33% off each.
