Those of you who already owned The Last of Us on PS3 and want to get the PS4 version releasing this summer but are also put off by the $60 asking price, might be in luck. Developer Naughty Dog is looking into the possibility of offering a discount of the game according to community strategist Eric Monacelli.
“We’re looking into the business model for all this and will post about this once we have input from all regions.” Monacelli said in response to a fan’s question.
When the PlayStation 4 first launch, several titles featured a discounted upgrade option through PSN and some retailers. If a similar model is implemented for the ‘Remastered’ Edition I’m sure many fans will gladly choose to upgrade.
Monacelli recently revealed the details regarding the final DLC pack for The Last of Us on PS3. The Grounded Bundle Pack will feature 4 new multiplayer maps, 4 new weapons, 8 new survival skills and an all new difficulty mode for Singeplayer called ‘Grounded’ mode that promises to be even more challenging than ‘Survivor’ mode. You can get the full details here.
The Last of Us: Remastered will release this summer.
