While we still have no idea who is going to be in charge of the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall (Respawn started it off and then handed it to some currently unknown development studio’s hands), it seems Respawn has announced that they are actively considering an Open Beta for the game. The Xbox ONE next-gen version of the title and the Windows PC (through EA’s Origin) version of the game are now available for Closed Alpha Testing (apply here) and Gameplay Footage of that was recently leaked (click here to watch).
Time remains to tell the full story of Titanfall but for now it seems that the Xbox community is definitely interested in seeing how things pan out – with an Open Beta basically being a declaration that Respawn is proud of what they’ve developed and are not scared to let people get their hands on the game before paying for it (that is if they actually go through with the Open Beta, which they are saying is likely at this point).
Stay tuned to our dedicated Titanfall Section for more info, videos, and screenshots as they become available.
