kanami1

Yesterday we announced that Konami had a release date revealed by retailers for the Windows PC launch of Metal Gear Rising (see here) and today we have more news on the developing story. Konami has debuted the Minimum and Recommended requirements for hardware needed to play the game. In addition to these requirements we have also learned that the game is over 25GB in filesize all together, suggesting that there will be a higher resolution to the graphics than seen on consoles (or a lot less likely, the version could just be very poorly optimized).

The title is also available for Pre-Order on Steam right now at 33% off for the holidays.

  • OS: XP or Vista or 7 or 8
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 2400
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTS 450
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Hard Drive: 25 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card

Recommended:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7 3770
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 650
