Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi (3DS Graphic Novel Review)

Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi comes from Aksys Games makers of many popular game series such as Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Bit.trip.saga and zero escape: virtues last reward. This game is on the Nintendo 3DS and has some good 3D its also not your typical game either. The game is played through more like reading a graphic novel which is a great way to be using your 3DS.

The story follows a young woman named Chizuru Yukimura and the crazy life that you finds after she leaves home to find her father in Kyoto. She gets tangled up with a group of swordsman the Shinsengumi. During the course of the game the user will  make decisions that will decide her fate there is a lot of romance in the decisions in the game and some can even get the player killed.

To open up the story and get all of the parts of it the user will find themselves play through the story a total of 6 times so that all the decisions can be made and the story will complete itself. The game is really a different type of game on the 3DS since it mainly is reading the dialogue and following the story which is a cool mechanic to add to the game and is really which will allow the user to enjoy this game. The story is told really well, and anyone who is a fan of the series should really check this game out.
