After gamers beat Batman: Arkham Origins (and the New Game Plus mode which allows the game to be played a second time with higher difficulty and the previously accumulated weapons / gear) a new mode will be unlocked that allows for an intense challenge, beating the game without dying. In this Extra Hard mode called I Am The Night Mode there is no saving and your deaths will be permanent.
The news was broke this weekend by Batman: Arkham Origins Producer Guillaume Voghel who also stated that the game’s main story-line will last around 12 hours the first time around not including side-content which many players will attempt to accomplish throughout the New Game Plus and I Am The Night modes.
This October will see a slew of releases including EA’s Battlefield 4, Batman: Arkham Origins, and more. Batman Arkham Origins releases worldwide on October 25, 2013 from publisher Warner Bros. Interactive for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, and Nintendo Wii U and is being developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal. Contrary to popular belief, the game is not currently planned for next-generation gaming consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox ONE.
