Nintendo Launches Animal Crossing Plaza on Wii U

Nintendo has announced at today’s Nintendo Direct (RGN Coverage dropping soon) that they will have a specialty app for Animal Crossing launching on the Nintendo Wii U titled Animal Crossing Plaza. Animal Crossing Plaza will be free to download in the Nintendo eShop and allows for players of Animal Crossing: New Leaf on Nintendo 3DS to design custom QR codes and post messages in the Miiverse. Check out more details about this below and stay tuned as we roll out complete coverage for Nintendo’s Direct event which took place today:

“The QR Code patterns posted can also be directly scanned and used in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Players can select their favorite animal in the Animal Crossing Plaza to post about those specific animals or view posts only about them. If players want to see more posts, they can jump directly to the Animal Crossing series Miiverse community from Animal Crossing Plaza.”
