DriveClub PS+ edition won’t be the same as the retail version

At Sony’s E3 press conference they announced that PS+ members will get DriveClub for free. Well, that’s not entirely true. If you want to get all the cars and tracks then you will have to buy them. It is not clear if they will this will be a micro-transaction, or required. We will most likely not find out for sure until the PS4 is released. The senior designer for Evolution Ben Gouldstone said

“The main difference between them is the amount of content. The idea behind this is, you’ve got PS Plus, you get your PS4 and you’ve got DriveClub, day and date, with the full feature set. You can do asynchronous races, synchronous races, you can do offline races. You can start creating your clubs, race with your friends, and start building your community.”

Who knows what exactly what this means, but you can decide what you think on your own after all it has been left up to interpretation exactly what this means, for now.
