Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi continues intelligently making headlines while speaking perhaps “lightly” on his company’s intent on releasing Gran Turismo 6 as an eventuality. Surely of course this will not be the last we hear about a PlayStation 4 version of GT6, but this game is heading to Sony’s PS3 this year and it’s unlikely to expect to see it on Sony’s PS4 in any reasonable amount of time. Yamauchi has been driving a lot of cars, paying a lot of attention, and seeing what is different in the game from real life. This driving experience is going to be one of the most anticipated and will see competition from Xbox ONE exclusive Forza Motorsport 5 and PlayStation 4 exclusive DriveClub as well as DriveClub PS Plus Edition for free with the PlayStation Plus subscription which is also required for online play on the Sony PS4 releasing Holiday 2013.
