When Resident Evil 5 first hit the market I almost skipped purchasing it. If it weren’t for a fervent friend of mine who was going hard on the title’s anticipation forums and finding every last detail about the game that he could to convince me to play it with him, which I later did and earned leaderboards and a Platinum Trophy in 10 days with him racing against another couple friends of ours, and there’s only one reason I would ever consider skipping such a franchise that I enjoy so much throughout the years.
The demo was just terrible. When you get to this part of the actual game it’s barely a bump in the road. And Resident Evil Revelations HD has a ridiculously tedious demo now too that fails to represent the game’s several intense and innovative aspects to the series such as the return to the roots and hardcore Survival Exploration gameplay. Just to get some action going, I recommend you at least try the demo on Infernal mode before playing further. The game is great, the demo is not! Don’t let it fool you and cause you to miss out on a perfectly good game in this fan favorite franchise.
