If you pre-order the highly anticipated, open-world crime title Grand Theft Auto V arriving September 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 you just might be persuaded to do it with Microsoft themselves. If you pre-order Grand Theft Auto V with Microsoft through the Xbox Live Marketplace you will still have to pay the full $59.99 launch price customary for any of Rockstar’s latest, but you’ll also be given 1,600 Microsoft Points to save for DLC or do what you like with.
Some are drawing the conclusion that this is an unnecessary move and a ploy by Microsoft to balance out the numbers between Grand Theft Auto’s sales performance on the PlayStation 3 versus its Xbox 360 counterpart. Check out our Grand Theft Auto V section for more information on what many are looking forward to as the current gen’s last diamond hit.
