God Of War III Remastered Announced for PS4, “New” Santa Monica Game Coming Too

Everyone knows who Kratos is, but do they know his story? If you’ve jumped in late to the game as a PlayStation brand consumer (perhaps one of the millions who have converted from Xbox 360 to PlayStation 4 when making that next-gen leap) then you will be interested to know that this summer on July 14, 2015 Sony Computer Entertainment will be releasing God Of War III Remastered on PlayStation 4. But that’s not all, the development team helping with the transition at Sony Santa Monica hopes to bring the glorious Action series into 60 frames per second on the PS4, and we hope they succeed as it truly makes a world of difference. Don’t believe us, just check out The Last Of Us: Remastered, and if you can’t spot the difference you’re probably doing it wrong. $39.99 is how much this Remaster will run you and it includes the new Photo Mode feature.

For those who are not interested though, Santa Monica has re-iterated that they are also working on a “new” game (we’re not entirely sure yet if that means existing IP getting a new installment or a New IP getting released at this point, though the studio is working on both we are told) and will announce it when they are able to. Sunday marks the tenth year since the original God Of War game was announced on March 22, 2005 exclusively for Sony PlayStation 2.
