Here’s 10 Minutes of New Bombshell Gameplay from this Year’s Quakecon

bombshell-5

Those in attendance at the 2015 Quakecon event, were able to get some hands-on time with Bombshell, 3D Realms’ upcoming isometric action role-playing game. For the rest of us who weren’t there, we will just have to settle for the brand new gameplay video that dropped today.

While some of the voice acting is less than impressive so far, the combat looks like brutal fun as Shelly blasts her way through the alien opposition. I for one, can’t wait to see more.

Bombshell is set to release sometime this year for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Shadow Warrior Reboot Screenshots and Trailer [Official] [Hi Res]

The following screenshots and trailer were released recently for Shadow Warrior, the re-envisioning by developer Flying Wild Hog (the team behind Hard Reset) of Shadow Warrior brought into modern glory. You can save the world, shoot, and new and improved – slice. Of course, there’s a quest for the legendary Nobitsura Kage blade which sounds worthy to me if anything in life is. Did we mention saving the world? Speed and accuracy are promised in the gameplay of this Retro First Person Shooter brought back to life. If you want to see how it looked back in ’97, you can play the classic version available HERE on Steam.

3D Realms (Apogee Software) is suing Gearbox Software for $2 Million in Royalties

Gearbox Software alleges they have already paid off 2.9 Million of their debt to other companies and published the much hated Duke Nukem Forever which they cite as allegedly losing their credibility and money. Now 3D Realms (Apogee Software) seeks damages up to $2 Million for alleged unpaid royalties. The issue will likely see a long and drawn out court case which RealGamerNewz will bring more specific details to and what it means to gamers if and when this should become available.

Classic Side Scroller Duke Nukem 2 Releases for iOS in April

Duke Nukem 2 is a favorite of mine. For those of you who don’t know the title or are unsure of which one this is, Duke Nukem 2 is the sequel to the original Duke Nukem (not Duke Nukem 3D, which is most people’s first encounter with the series) and is a 2D side-scrolling action game similar to the likes of Contra. The game was extremely intense in its day and age and is now being brought to the iOS platform this April. Take a look at the launch trailer below:
