Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Exo Zombies Mode – Starring Rose McGowan Alongside Other Hollywood Actors

aweoinawerfoinaerf

Exo Zombies Havoc Trailer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in 60fps. Actors: Rose McGowan, John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, and Jon Bernthal star in the latest teaser for the upcoming Exo Zombies mode DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on Xbox ONE, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Little is known about the exact origins of the storyline for this online multiplayer co-op campaign but as far as COD fans last heard – Treyarch was not passing the baton on the original storyline to Zombies.

The original storyline to the first Zombies mode was retired and given its own sort of ending with Black Ops 2’s final DLC pack, I still have Black Ops 1 and 2 for PS3 with all of the DLC’s and replay them with friends for their Zombies modes (admittedly need to get around to re-buying World at War and those as well for the collection). So essentially, this was a surprise to most people as they expected Zombies to be done with – or in the least, for Treyarch to be making their return with it. It’s now seeming that Activision may have a Zombies mode every year implemented into the game, but that for this year the DLC mode is likely required to be purchased rather than come as part of the original game to the dismay of millions of gamers worldwide.

Take a look at today’s new Havoc Trailer below in 1080P 60 frames per second.

Activision Claiming Copyright on YouTube Users for Posting Videos of Call of Duty: AW Glitches

Call-of-Duty-Advanced-Warfare1

If you read the title then you are definitely reading what I am typing. Yes, Activision is indeed claiming copyright on YouTube Users for posting Glitches from Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. Sounds crazy right? Well unfortunately it is not. If you are indeed one of those YouTube users who enjoys Call of Duty Glitch hunting, then you are shat out of luck in this new installment. It seems as though Activision is pushing more toward removing these videos more so than fixing the glitches themselves, even though these videos themselves are some of the easiest and simplest ways to show them that there is a bug or 2 or maybe 50 still left in the game. All Judgment aside (from me of course) All Call of Duty games have had a major glitch spot and or spots, whether its in Black Ops 2 Zombies mode in the hidey holes in Die Rise,  or in Modern warfare 2 where you could scale the Highrise to the tippy top of the building. Each one has one, and think back on where you first saw it or heard of it. Of course it was from a friend but you know exactly where he saw it, that’s right, YouTube. So why all of a sudden is Activision taking notice of these videos and just now acknowledging them? Well who knows. Maybe it isn’t there choice entirely, maybe Sledgehammer games is putting well, the sledgehammer down on these videos, maybe they don’t want the mass to see these mistakes. Who knows, what I do know though is if your one to make 20+ Glitch videos on Cod games your going to have to find another topic, cause this new realization from Activision may just get your channel removed… or worse… Sledge-banned. Bumm bumm bummmm.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Campaign Save Glitch Still Not Fixed

Call-of-Duty-Advanced-Warfare-Campaign-Story-Trailer-3

Recently I had the unfortunate luck of discovering a glitch in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s singleplayer outing. After finishing the campaign, not only did I not unlock the trophy for doing so but I noticed that I wasn’t able to replay the missions I had previously completed, via mission select.

A few days ago developer Sledgehammer Games released a patch for the game to fix many of the numerous issues it was facing. In the list of things the patch was supposed to fix, “Fixed rare save game issue affecting playthrough progression”, was one of them.

Upon reading this a few hours ago, I turned on my PS4, downloaded the patch and booted up the game only to find, that nothing had changed. Instead of getting pissed, shutting the game off and calling it a night, I decided to replay the final mission again. Sadly after beating, no trophy unlocked and the game still acts as though I have only beaten the first three missions.

It seems the patch didn’t do squat for this issue.

The full patch notes below. It has taken effect (Mostly?) for PS4 and PC, the Xbox One version is still pending.

  • Adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement.
  • Fixed Prestige reset issues, including emblems and challenges.
  • Fixed marksman and camo challenges to not reset when you Prestige.
  • Connectivity optimizations for game servers.
  • Fixed issues with Ping Bar not updating correctly.
  • Fixed stats not accumulating towards leaderboards after Prestiging.
  • Adjustment to challenges to unlock camos for weapons.
  • Fixed round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios.
  • Implemented ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match.
  • Fixed weapon reloads counting as speed reloads in certain circumstances.
  • Added description to reload informing that you can double-tap to speed reload.
  • Fixed DoubleXP splash, so it doesn’t show up in Private Match, Combat Readiness Program, or Exo Survival mode.
  • Showing 4x or 2x based on whether a loot DoubleXP item exists
  • Add DoubleXP icon to medal splashes when DoubleXP is active.
  • Fixed rare save game issue affecting playthrough progression
  • KC score limit increased to 85 per match.

You can view my post patch recording straight from my PS4, showing the patch was ineffective for my issue.

So has this been fixed for anyone else or am I alone this firefight? Did you experience any of the other issues listed and were they also fixed? Sound off in the comments.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Campaign Glitch

2624135-call+of+duty+advanced+warfare_1407931494

Having just beaten the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare campaign on my PS4, I decided to go into mission select. As I am working on my review for the game’s strategy guide, my plan was to replay the missions and use it to mop up whatever remaining pieces of intel I missed. You know, for accuracy.

Much to my surprise, I discover that I can only select the first four missions to replay. It seems the game isn’t recognizing that I have beaten the full campaign, let alone any mission after the third one. I also didn’t unlock the trophy ‘A New Era’, for completing the campaign on any difficulty.

Terminus

The video below was recorded via my PS4 after the fact. For those who have beaten the game, you’ll recognize this is the final mission ‘Terminus’. I only show the beginning of the mission but you can clearly see after backing out, and trying to use mission select again, that only missions 1-4 are available.

Very odd and annoying. Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

Call of Duty Will Not Work With PS4 Shareplay Upon the Major PS4 2.0 Update

Call-of-Duty-Advanced-Warfare1

Activision has announced that the SharePlay option will not be available for use with Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. The company released a statement saying

“Delivering a great gaming experience for fans is our top priority,” the company says in a statement via email. “We’re focused on launching Advanced Warfare and ensuring that people have a great time playing it, which our fans seem to be. Share Play is a new feature that was introduced as part of the recent PS4 firmware 2.00 update. Our engineers didn’t have access to it before it launched, so we haven’t had a chance to evaluate it to see how it will impact the experience across all modes of play. Of course we wouldn’t include a feature in our game without having the chance to test it. Once we’ve fully analyzed its performance, we’ll determine how to support it going forward.” To some gamers this comes as a bust but to the other understanding ones have agreed with the statement and are willing to be patient for Call of Duty AW to be available with SharePlay. Until then you will either have to buy the game or watch your friends do so because it does not look like you will be sharing it with your friends any time soon.”

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is Available now on Xbox ONE, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC/Steam.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will feature a Full Zombie Mode but There’s a Catch

Advanced-Warfare-Zombies-COD

After last week’s leaked confirmation of zombies being featured in Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, fans were excited at the option to battle the undead and also play as one online. Many fans were a little disappointed however, to learn that a full on zombie mode in the game was not to be.

Well it turns out that Advanced Warfare will feature a full on zombie mode but there is a slight catch that might not sit well with some fans. You must purchase the $50 Season Pass in order to have access to it. According to a Gamestop press release, in addition to the four DLC map packs and one bonus map, players will also be able face off against the zombie horde.

“This just in, Zombies are back as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass! Stop by any GameStop to pick up one of the most anticipated games to launch this year, along with 4-multiplayer map packs, Atlas Gorge, and yes – ZOBMIES [sic]. All this is available for purchase today GameStop as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass for only $49.99.”

No other details were given on the zombies mode. Will zombies release as separate DLC packs, or will they be exclusive to the Season Pass? Stay tuned to RGN learn more as the info rises.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releases tomorrow for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Thos who pre-ordered the game can pick up the Day Zero Edition today.

You Can Play As a Zombie in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Zombies

Recently is was revealed (leaked!!!) that Sledgehammer Games’s upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, would feature zombies in some form. It turns out you can also play as an undead soldier in the game’s multiplayer modes but there are requirements.

According to reddit user, lookbehindyousir, players can unlock the ability to play as a zombie through Advanced Warfare’s survival mode. Below are the details.

“Survival mode in COD: AW has 4 tiers, 4 maps in the first 3 tiers, 1 map (Riot) in the last tier. To unlock the 2nd tier, you need to complete 50 rounds overall in the 1st tier, to unlock the 3rd tier, you need 75 rounds overall in 2nd tier, for the 4th and final tier, you need 100 rounds completed in the 3rd tier. You receive 2 pieces of zombie equipment for unlocking the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th tier.

To get the final 2 pieces (‘zombie top’ and the zombie player head) you need to reach round 10 on Riot (the 4th tier) at which point a DNA bomb drops, and you then have to fend off a single wave of zombies for about 3 minutes before evacuating and getting shown that cut scene that leaked earlier. There is no ‘zombies mode’ or any extra reward for doing this. These are permanent items.”

So a full on zombie survival mode in a Call of Duty title, will continue to be exclusive in the Treyarch developed games, it seems. It also looks like you will really have to earn this special reward, as survival mode looks to be very challenging. Here’s a better look at the zombie character.

Bullets and brains make for one happy zombie soldier

So does the option to play as a zombie, get you even more excited for Advanced Warfare, or could you really care less?

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches on Nov 4, for PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. November 3rd for those who pre-ordered the Day Zero Edition.

Happy Halloween! You’ve Got some Zombies in Your Advanced Warfare

call_of_duty_advanced_warfare_5

Zombies has been all the rage for years in the Call of Duty franchise. Ever since Treyarch debuted their infected themed survival mode in Call of Duty: World at War back in 2007, each new CoD title developed by them has included a Zombie mode. It has been a Treyarch exclusive mode until now that is.

Sledgehammer Game’s soon to be released Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will feature zombies in some form. What started out as rumor based on an achievement picture featuring a zombie wearing the game’s signature EXO suit. It was then later revealed that the zombies just show up during a wave in the game’s Exo-Survival mode.

Advanced-Warfare-Zombies-COD

In the video below the player reaches round 11, when a DNA Bomb goes off. The player wakes up to find himself being attacked by hordes of zombies. Maybe the DNA bomb is the cause of this? Check it out below.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will release on November 4, 2014 for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Those who pre-ordered the Day Zero Edition can pick it up a day early.

USA Pre-Order Chart; Call of Duty Still on Top, Elder Scrolls Online Drops

theelderscrollsonline

For the week of September 27, 2014, the X1 version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare continues to sit atop the pre-order chart in the US. With an almost 6,000 increase since the previous week, the upcoming first-person shooter is estimated at 152, 377. While it saw a small increase of only 631 pre-orders, The Order: 1886 held onto its #2 spot with 140,95.

The top 10 remained largely unchanged, with only the PS4 version of Advanced Warfare and the X1 version of The Elder Scrolls Online trading places. An increase of 4,609 resulted in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for the PlayStation 4 taking the number 6 spot (92,307) and EOS dropping to number 7 (89,642) with a miniscule increase of only 176 pre-orders. The fact that a new release date still hasn’t been revealed for the console versions — as well as any new info about the game in general, could be the reason for such little change. It’s safe to say it will continue to drop in the coming weeks.

You can view the full top 40 chart below which welcomes a few new games to the list including the PS4 version of WWE 2K15. Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 and Xbox One has yet to debut in the top 40, despite being one month away from its November release date.

Note* These estimates are for physical pre-orders and do not include digital.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on Xbox One and The Order: 1886 Lead USA Pre-Orders

call_of_duty_advanced_warfare_1

The Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sits atop the United States pre-order chart according to vgchartz.com. With less than 8 weeks before release, the current-gen version of Sledgehammer Games’ first person shooter dominates with an estimated (Digital pre-orders not counted) total of 146,480 pre-orders.

Surprisingly Ready At Dawn’s brand new IP The Order: 1886, isn’t far behind with 140,284. The PS exclusive is scheduled for a Feb 20, 2015, and one should expect that number to rise as it eventually takes the number 1 spot.

Order-1886

The Order: 1886’s Lycan enemies *Shudders*

Unsurprisingly the Xbox 360 version of Advanced Warfare sits at number 3, followed by the PS4 version Dying Light and Drive Club at numbers 4 and 5 respectively. The Elder Scrolls Online for X1 — which still has no new release date, hangs out at #6 with the PS4 versions of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Batman: Arkham Knight, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Assassin’s Creed: Unity respectively closing out the top 10.

You can view the full top 40 below, which is surprisingly devoid of Grand Theft Auto V pre-orders for PS4, X1 and PC.

Transformers Developer Working on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for PS3 and 360

A few months ago we learned that Sledgehammer Games would be the ones to develop this year’s Call of Duty title for the PS4, PC and Xbox One platforms. It was also revealed that the game would not skip the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 consoles but just who was handling them, was a mystery.

Now Sledgehammer Games’ co-founders Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey confirmed in an interview with Gameinformer, that the talented High Moon Studios are the ones overseeing the curren-gen versions’ development.

“Current gen is also going to be great – the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms are being developed by the talented team at High Moon Studios,” they explained. “They are committed to bringing an incredible X360 and PS3 Call of Duty game to fans. We’ve been working closely with those guys to ensure players get an awesome Call of Duty experience on all platforms.”

The team at High Moon are no strangers to working on shooters, their past titles include the well received Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. It will be interesting to see how they handle a shooter of different style and pace.

They won’t be alone though, as they will be getting help from another studio familiar with Call of Duty development.

“The Sledgehammer Games team was able to leverage talent across the company after last year’s game shipped, including the team at Raven Software to help deliver against our three year vision for Advanced Warfare”

One wonders if we will see a repeat with what EA and MS did with the 360 version of Titanfall, where they kept gameplay footage under wraps right up until its release and only focused Next-gen footage. My money is on publisher Activision pulling the same thing.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches on PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
