After scaring the pants off PC gamers and making PS4 owners wet their pants, indie developer Red Barrels is looking for a similar reaction from Xbox One fans as their survival horror title has now made its way to Microsoft’s new-gen console.
It is a very creepy game, our very own DJ Killzown Jones reviewed it for Windows praising the indie horror title stating “Forget Resident Evil and Dead Space, this game is the new standard in the survival horror genre. Outlast is a masterpiece”, ” it is a must-own for any survival horror fan.”
Check out some screenshots and the creepy Launch trailer below.
“In the remote mountains of Colorado, horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, the asylum has been operating in strict secrecy… until now. Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.”
