With rumors on the horizon about what exactly Sony will be showing off during this year’s E3 2014 event, we’ve already seen a slew of new titles being announced for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita platforms. Yesterday three games were announced to be hitting PlayStation platforms soon: EarthNight (a new Roguelike title hitting PS4 / Vita with high fidelity, hand-drawn art), Night In The Woods (which will be arriving on PS4 this Fall if all goes according to plans), and One Way Trip (a very strange and unique title that needs to just speak for itself for the time being – so see it in action below). But that’s not all, today even more announcements have occurred and the day is still young. E3 2014 begins Monday but companies often release Pre-E3 content and announcements, scroll down to see the newer stuff and what you probably missed yesterday. Seriously, is anyone actually capable enough to keep track of all the PlayStation games in the world anymore?

Today’s announcements thus far have managed to scrape up some very interesting titles for the PlayStation brand. Some announcements can be lumped in as the typical stuff that most gamers assumed was inevitable such as NBA 2K15, the sure to be massively discussed sequel to the beloved NBA 2K14 game that rocked the world and put Jay Z back on the map for production credits in the video game industry – not to mention made 2K Sports a lot of money and prestige in the process. In addition to announcements like this, Sony has also helped give a huge marketing push to the following indie games which were learned about today.
Gunship X for example is a title that should be every Call of Duty Killstreak master’s dream come true – infinite time in the AC-130 Gunship as the title will see players in a defensive regiment against enemies of various types while gunning from the AC-130 the entire time. An entire campaign has been built around the experience has been announced today for the PlayStation Vita platform. Valiant Hearts is a franchise known and loved by many already, today that game has received a brand new, behind-the-scenes developer diary focusing on the music in the game while showing off some never-before-seen gameplay as well.
Loadout is a free-to-play shooter gamer being drawn in an art style similar to Team Fortress 2 but with a completely different gameplay system. This title has already been available on Steam and will now also see a release to the PlayStation 4 platform via PSN. For those looking for free ways (No PS+ required) to shoot their friends in the head, this should please you. Check out some of the footage of these announcements today as E3 2014 kicks off prematurely right here on RealGamerNewz – and feel free to tell us what you love / hate about Sony’s new approach to game marketing this generation.
