Black Ops 2 Revolution: PS3 Zombies Die Rise Solo HD Gameplay

Brand new released downloadable content for the PlayStation Network, Call of Duty: Black Ops II Revolution map pack which is introduces the new zombies map  “Die Rise”. Some really funky old school video game music kicks things off. When you hear the “Click, click” you know it’s starting. Treyarch outdoes themselves as always, take a look at the video and see if you agree.

Worms Revolution Adds Class System to Classic 2D Franchise

In the latest announcement for the Worms franchise the developers Team 17 have revealed a brand new class based system for the new Worms Revolution title. I would have called it Worms Evolution after seeing just what those classes do to your little wormy characters. There are four classes, Soldier, Scout, Scientist and Heavy.

Players will be able to unlock 16 worms total, four of each class to choose from. So you can Mix and match classes to formulate the perfect balance of characters to cover all your bases or try to exploit only one super power and create the ultimate overpowering team to crush the enemy. Either way it looks like a great way to enhance the Worm experience and it is good to see some innovative changes being implemented to this franchise good job keeping it fresh Team 17.

Here is a breakdown of what each class is about:

  • ” The Soldier: The Soldier is like the standard worm from the previous Worms™ games, and is the most well rounded worm in the game. The Soldier is good at attacking and getting around the landscape, though he is not specialized in any particular area.
  • The Scout: The Scout is a more agile class, moving faster than the other classes and jumping higher and further, but this is balanced against his weak attack power. His small size presents him as a slightly smaller target, particularly against ranged attacks, and his light weight means he can fall further without taking damage. However this also means that he’s more susceptible to Melee attacks from the other classes or large explosions as the Scout gets blasted further than the other worms.
  • The Heavy: This worm is the largest and most powerful worm in the game, but he’s severely limited when it comes to getting around the landscape and he also makes for the biggest target, meaning he’s easier to hit than the other worms. The Heavy’s size and lack of agility means he’s simply unable to reach the parts of the landscape that the other classes would take for granted without having to resort to a utility, but even then his extra bulk makes him sluggish on the Ninja Rope and Jet-pack. However, the Heavy’s extra bulk can work to his advantage as it means he won’t travel as far, compared to the other classes, when hit, meaning he has a better chance of staying on the landscape.
  • The Scientist: The Scientist plays a support role. His physical attributes make him both weaker and slower than the standard Soldier worm, but for every turn that the Scientist takes he raises the health of the entire team. The Scientist is able to build stronger items, such as Sentry Guns and Electromagnets.via ET

Assassin’s Creed 3 Details + Graphics: American Revolution Meets Illuminati? [UPDATE]

[UPDATE] Check out these Assassin’s Creed III Pre-Order bonuses from GameStop which are some awesome looking steel books!

assassins creed 3 steel book pre order

Assassin’s Creed III has been seeing some images being leaked, but don’t worry these aren’t some doctored up fan-fiction images. These are the real deal. Check out the screenshots below:

Now, you must ask yourself; how exactly are they going to play out the story of the American Revolution within the backdrop of the Assassin’s Creed storyline without including the heavily controversial history of America’s secret societies and their ties with the illuminati. Who Ubisoft will choose as the enemies in this tale and how they decide to tell the intricate details of the weaving of America’s foundation with the prime evil of secrecy will certainly be an industry-defining moment and a sight to see. Here’s to hoping it doesn’t turn out one big propaganda project.

Here are some more details stolen from the latest GameInformer by a NeoGaf user and summarized by GameRant (because it’s okay to rob magazines in the future apparently) ***WARNING SOME POSSIBLE SPOILERS:

  • “New hero called Connor/Ratohnhake:ton (pronounced Ra-doon-ha-gay-doo). He has an English father and Native American mother.
  • A new traversal approach that has players leaping and climbing trees and mountain cliffs.
  • Combat is focused on putting you on the offensive and based on speed/momentum. The main character has thousands of new and unique animations (no carry over from other titles) to support the new combat system. There’s no more target locking, it just automatically detects your target. Counter/defense are the same button to prevent turtling.
  • Connor is in the heart of major battles, and they can now have a couple thousand guys on screen, whereas before it was capped at about 100.
  • There will be all sorts of wilderness in the game referred to as the Frontier. The map of the Frontier is 1.5 times bigger than the entire map of Brotherhood.
  • The world changes as time passes, so a field where a battle happened in one year may just be a series of empty encampments a few months later. The entire world will change with seasons, so the cities and the wilderness will all exist in both Summer and Winter settings.
  • You can now leap over wagons or slide under obstacles, including navigating over and around moving objects. The free running stuff also has you jumping through windows to trees and then on top of church roofs.
  • This game has the longest development cycle since AC1, and has twice the production capacity (in terms of work hours) and budget of Revelations.”
