During the events of issue 700 of the first run of “The Amazing Spider-Man” Peter Parker was presumed dead after Doctor Octopus switched his mind with the webslinger to both save himself and end his arch-nemesis at the same time. Doc Ock in his guilt and shame of not besting the war crawler at his best took up the mantle of “The Superior Spider-Man” and the series continued under the same name. Now after mass fan outcry and current story developments Peter Parker will return in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #1 this April. Check back to RGN for more info and a review of the first issue when it is released.
