Atomic energy was just one perk of splitting the atom, but more importantly – nuclear weaponry was also made possible by this grand scientific breakthrough. As with most weapons of mass destruction, nukes can achieve peace! Through the fear of being demolished many uneasy alliances have been formed. As Fallout 76 approaches release for PS4, Xbox, and PC on November 14, 2018 we have a new trailer from Bethesda Game Studios showcasing a little more of how this system will work.

Best of Gamescom 2018

As we previously reported, NVIDIA stole the show at this year’s Gamescom 2018 with its next-generation PC Gaming graphics card lineup introducing Real-time Ray Tracing to the industry in what will arguably change the visual standard for decades to come. You can read more about that, watch the clips, and full public briefing provided in our NVIDIA RTX Press Conference WrapUp.

In terms of actual game announcements, this year was a little dry. We suspect a behind-the-scenes focus on the next-generation gaming consoles currently known as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Project Scarlet (names may change closer to their release) have something to do with the lack of major AAA showings. That being said, there was still plenty of closer looks at upcoming titles to get excited about and we’ve decided to cover most of it at once here in this piece.

A Closer Look at The Elder Scrolls: Blades – Pt. 1

Combining hand-crafted and procedurally generated dungeons, ease of use elements and hardcore game design, The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a hybrid game concept bringing a fascinating RPG universe to consoles, computers, and smartphones this year.

In September 2018 The Elder Scrolls will get a brand new entry playable on the go for the first time since Nokia brick phones. With Skyrim now available on Nintendo Switch and a portable version of Oblivion cancelled from back in the PlayStation Portable days, fans have been hungry for more of the unique role playing game’s universe to fit in their pocket. Behind the scenes Bethesda Game Studios is working hard to ensure that they get this right, and it’s not viewed as just a cash-in.
