Tristans Twisted World: Assassin’s Creed 3 The Tyranny of King Washington Review

By Tristan Werbe in Reviews

I was originally going to do individual episode reviews, but deiced that doing a full review on all them together would get the full story and sanctification I wanted as a fan of the series. We all know the United States of America’s history of beating the impossible odds of winning a revolution against the worlds most powerful country England. This takes a little spin on the whole lid, the U.S. still wins the war but something goes wrong and the whole cycle gets renewed as Mad King Washington goes crazy with power. Only Connor can stop him but…..not as himself.

Soundtrack, Audio, Voice: The soundtrack is a mix of music from the game and some new songs added in but it sounds native american which makes them emotional. Audio mix is perfect from the sounds of hidden blades to blue coats yelling. Voice acting is superb as Connor and George Washington played astounding roles.

Graphics, Physics, Glitches, Engine Performance: The graphics are really good since this is add on DLC for Assassin’s Creed 3. Physics are normal expect for some of the factors with the animal powers. Rarely any glitches expect sometimes when flight of the eagle animal power is in use I got stuck to a building. The engine runs better in this DLC than the actual game.

Gameplay: The gameplay is basically Assassin’s Creed 3 expect with the awesome addition of animal powers. Connor can now summon wolves to his side and send them out after enemies. He also can use his wolf cloak were he can go invisible and kill animals from below. Flight of the eagle allows Connor to travel and faster and assassinate enemies by flying into them. Might of the bear lets Connor destroy enemies and obstacles with overwhelming force.

Story: The story takes place in a alternative world that Connor wakes up to one day later on in his adventures. He wakes up to a world where is Mom is alive, George Washington is a evil king with a apple, and he was never an Assassin. He has to gain animal powers on sky journeys where he somehow manages to go into the animus mainframe. He has gain support to take George Washington in this crazy new world he was brought into.

Replay Ability: High

Final Verdict: The episodic DLC add ons that people wanted badly and made me purchase a season’s pass was astounding. I give Assassin’s Creed 3 Tyranny of the King a 9.8 out of 10.

Overall Score: 9.8/10  Platinum Game
