Dying Light comes from Techland who has made high budget games for every platform out. They’ve also had some great experience in the survival genre making games such as the Dead Island series as well as the Call of Juarez series. Since inception as a company in 1991 Techland has opened up five offices around the world and now put their absolute best foot forward with the exemplary effort Dying Light.
Dying Light is a first person action survival horror game. The game is set in Harran where there’s been a terrible outbreak and survivors are fighting to make it up against a seemingly unstoppable threat, the infected undead. Players will take upon the role as Kyle Crane an undercover operative that works for the GRE (Global Relief Effort). Crane is sent on a mission to retrieve stolen files from a seemingly ‘bad’ guy named Rais who went against the GRE and stole a bunch of sensitive materials that contain items about the breakout. Upon arriving by plane Crane is hurt and is rescued by Jade, a local, and someone you will get to know better as the story progresses.
Dying Light has two main factions; the runners and the bandits, with everyone fighting for control of the city, and the secrets woven into the story unraveling as Dying Light continues. Players find themselves being introduced to The Tower first. This is the main stronghold in the game where most of the missions will be staged from as well as the main location where very important characters will be revealed to the player. One of the most important things that the user will always be searching for is Antizin which is a viral suppressant that acts as temporary cure to the Harran Virus. Unfortunately, Antizin is not a permanent cure though, and though rumors are one is being developed by a scientist Dr. Zere, Crane will end up working with lots of different characters in the storyline to help them in any way he can in hopes of a cure as well as staying in alive and staying in contact with the GRE. All of this goes on while the main character also has to remain undercover to not let anyone know about the files he was sent to get.
To players, finding a cure and helping out the people they meet may be a very important and rewarding experience. To the main character Crane though, getting those files is the real mission, the real purpose, the only thing that matters. This successful cinematic narrative shows how video games can provide players with a moral motivation in real life while at the same time engaging as a character they just might disagree with fundamentally. This becomes more so towards the middle and end chunks of the game, but we will avoid spoiling anything in the story beyond the early moments in this Review. If you’re this far reading in, you may want to consider picking up Dying Light to find out more for yourself.
The gameplay in Dying Light is very different from what you would expect if you have played any of the Dead Island games. The core of the game revolves around always keeping Crane moving and this is thanks to the parkour movement as well as more intense encounters with enemies. Each swing feels like it has more weight, more meaning, perhaps even more importantly the statistic grind of upgrading weapons now feels equally solid and stable.
Adapting to the terrain is crucial if you want to survive in Dying Light. There are several different behaviors that players can benefit from turning into habits including transitioning from running to jumping movements like silk, gaining access to higher ground as well as garbage bags useful for breaking a long fall. Stealth becomes an optional way to avoid a lot of damage in between missions as well as keep the noise down, since the infected are attracted to loud noises. Users will find that they need to open up and secure safe houses around the city. These might range from safe places to go to if hurt to critical laboratories. Players also need to find safety and rest if they have spent all of the daytime hours to be secured from night time droves of ravenous zombies before becoming one themselves.
Getting items from crates and lockers is essential in upgrading weapons as well as making other useful items such as medkits. The combat is primarily based on melee combat, there are guns in the game, but ammo is extremely rare to find. Supply Drops are something to always be on the lookout for as they have different types of drops in them. These can be very helpful, some contain anything from Antizin to medical supplies, as well as combat items that can help you out.
One of the biggest gameplay elements put into Dying Light is the day and night cycle. This essentially makes the experience and is a game-changer for the survival genre overall. In the daylight, it’s easy to find your way around and zombies can be difficult but are overall not too hard to take down. When the sun goes down though, and the night comes, zombies become twice as strong and can overtake even the most skilled player. There are several that also have increased powers at night, for example the ones called volatiles. Volatiles can bite and attack quickly so your best case scenario is to run as fast as you can or if they get close hit them with UV light to stun them and then continue to run. These creatures can of course be killed, but players will want to be wary of large hordes grouping up on them at one time. One of the most important keys of mastering Dying Light, and a noticeable upgrade from the Dead Island formula is that the RPG skills now come in three categories: Survivor, Agility, and Power. Each of these skills will be upgraded as the game continues and this is where the user can really tailor the experience to the way they enjoy playing.
Controls for Dying Light feel fluid and easy to get used to, since during the review process both the Xbox One and PS4 versions were being played. I could compare the two for controls. On Xbox One the button mapping for Dying Light didn’t seem the best. The PS4 has the same layout on the buttons, but it feels a bit more natural for the platform if it weren’t for minor touches such as the touchpad on the controller having one of the most annoying implementations and essentially holding it back from greatness. Since this would always get hit by mistake mid-combat. The PC Version also supports keyboard and mouse or controllers and our Editor-In-Chief Jon Ireson says he enjoys the PC Version with his Xbox One controller plugged in (no charge kit adapter required, just download the free drivers from Microsoft Official Website) and sees no major issues with the controls. The new parkour system is great as well, and is integrated in a way that works very well with the gameplay and artificial intelligence zombies display.
Characters in Dying Light all have different back-stories that can be found out by either paying close attention to the main missions and/or during completion of the game’s many side-quests. Major characters of course include Kyle Crane, Jade Aldemir, Rais, Brecken, Rahim Aldemir, and Dr. Zere. In addition to these characters there are additional characters with quests that can be completed to receive additional skill points as well as to help players ultimately find more loot.
If I haven’t mentioned it before, Graphics in Dying Light are downright gorgeous. Everything from the high landscapes to the detail in the buildings as well as the character models are expertly sculpted, textured, and detailed – especially the infected. Enemy Design is interesting and gives enough push to the genre to feel fresh and new. In terms of engine performance, the game operates around 30 frames per second on console (occasionally reaching higher) while performing 35 – 45 on most current-gen, low-end to average gaming computers. This is complained about by some, but looks crystal clear the majority of the time and shouldn’t hold you back from enjoying this great game. That being said, there are a small amount of frame dip moments in the game and a few technical issues were encountered. For the most part, these didn’t hinder the gameplay experience overall and only costed a few moments of time compared to the tens of hours of fun achievable with the game. For the record though, Dying Light has crashed twice on the Xbox One, once during the tutorial in which the character jumped off the map and then floated in the air, and once more when the character got stuck in a wall while free climbing. But, these are not major issues, and only happened a rare amount of times. I haven’t had any of these issues on the PS4 as of yet. Techland also confirmed that they will be re-enabling mods in the PC Version of the game and that they were only temporarily taken away from the community in order to quell cheating issues in PvP mode.
Dying Light does have a co-op option in the game and nothing is better than joining a buddy and slaying lots of zombies together. There is also “Be The Zombie” mode that has been added to the game where it’s zombies vs humans, part of the player base plays as humans and the others play as Night Hunters. The Night Hunters are of course a breed of very intelligent infected. After a small tutorial is provided for players to learn how to move incredibly fast and agile, they are shown that their weakness is the UV light. I’m looking forward to continuing to play this mode a lot more with my group of friends in the near future.
Dying Light has to be one of the best games in the survival horror genre. With lots to do in this bloody city, there’s never a boring moment. Lots of quests seem to repeat the same themes, but if users get sick of that there is a lot of areas to just explore and lots of infected to kill. Dying Light has a very high replay-ability factor especially with or without the DLC being added from the Season Pass in the next couple of months. Upgrading and crafting weapons while experiencing a cinematic survival experience gave us hope for Techland’s future endeavors and we hope Dying Light has now been birthed into a franchise we see evolve in major ways going forward. Techland has introduced a new level for others to reach for in the industry making anything to do with the undead. Dying Light is a must play.

When watching the developers behind the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive video game Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End it becomes clear that their intentions are to bring out the best possible marriage of cinematography and gameplay. This is something Naughty Dog has a proven history at doing well with. Uncharted 2 is still hailed as possibly one of the greatest and most cinematic gameplay experiences of all time while still catering to hardcore adrenaline junkies of traditional gaming culture. Many non-gamers were able to watch and remark that it was just like watching a film, albeit with a few more moments of dying on harder difficulties. The Last of Us had a similar success as it reached into living rooms and entertained across a wide spectrum of demographics, touching the hearts of millions worldwide in the forming of a true blockbuster IP.
Naughty Dog is set to drop jaws in the world of gamers and cinematic fans once again as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End approaches release some time this year. The studio has managed to introduce 4 times the level of graphics seen in Uncharted 3, given a Real Body Physics engine with 360 degree animation, and a healthy helping of more visual effects engines, design improvements, and minor touches that players won’t notice because they make what’s on-screen seem real.
A representative for Naughty Dog the developer behind the series is quoted below speaking about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the direction the team is looking to take in terms of graphics engine prioritization.
“We’re actually above 30, but we locked it [for the demo]. We’re going to do whatever it takes to make the game we want to make. If it means we could go for 60 but lose something that would really impact the player’s experience, then it’s our choice as developers to say, ‘Well, we’re going to go for the experience over the 60 frames.'” – Bruce Straley // Director of Uncharted 4

We’d hate to let hype sway us, and we really can’t expect any development studio to be perfect – but at the risk of jinxing a great thing we have to admit that Naughty Dog is as close to flawless as it gets when Industry Talk finds its way to the topic of AAA development. Graphically, the game can still look impressive without being 60 frames per second. It may not look like much now, but at the time of its release Uncharted 2 was very polished and in the console segment of the market was regarded as a high technical accomplishment.
Naughty Dog not only marvels audiences with front-end releases through major Sony 1st party publishing contracts but also helped develop the tools for third party companies to make PS3 games easier during a time when the platform was struggling to gain neutral ground against Xbox 360. Mark Cerny and Sony Worldwide Studios Boss Yoshida have also expressed many times that Naughty Dog was instrumental in developing the architecture of the PlayStation 4.
So it’s with much understanding that gamers want the world, a cake, and to eat it too when talking about any Naughty Dog related project. During The Last of Us: Remastered’s development there came a point when Corrinne Yu of Naughty Dog (and ex-Halo developer) speculated taking The Last of Us above 60 frames per second on the PS4 hardware. Ultimately, gamers rejoiced when 60 Frames Per Second for TLOU:R was essentially confirmed ahead of launch by Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog.
Nothing is new about the science behind 60 Frames Per Second, Check out this 1998 essay about it. You’ve all heard the myth that “studies ‘prove’ human eyes cannot tell the difference”, but this can simply be attributed to poorly thought out academics from a narrow point of view. The lack of evidence, is not evidence. 60 Frames Per Second is not up for debate, that’s why you won’t hear any developer worth their salt trying to sell you a 15 Frames Per Second game.
It is likely that many gamers still to this day cannot see the difference between 30 Frames Per Second Vs 60 Frames Per Second. As time progresses, just as our eyes adapt and become more used to graphics of old consoles – there comes a time when the mind can process more information than traditionally expected. This is seen not just in video games, but in Sports athletes, Doctors who work under high pressure, and many other walks of life in which the connection between the optic nerve, the brain, and the eyes becomes very “in-the-moment”, rapidly processing large amounts of information with ease.
It’s the reason YouTube implemented support for 60 Frames Per Second videos. You can check out an in-depth explanation talking about this, explaining everything in the first 2 minutes while visually showing off the actual Gameplay Footage of The Last of Us: Remastered in 60 Frames Per Second. Check it out below, and props to YouTuber SwingPoynt for creating the video which just happened to be a perfect example of what we’re talking about in this article.
The science explained above is how gamers who can see in 60 Frames Per Second are able to enjoy the multiplayer of The Last of Us: Remastered more and get a slightly faster gameplay experience from it. The feel and vibe we at RealGamerNewz and RGN Community readers are getting so far from the Uncharted 4 game is a bit more cinematic, and likely will not attempt to match this. Surely, for many, this is going to be looked at as a negative thing before launch is even close to ready. It doesn’t mean the game won’t be great, but it cuts out a grand aspect that many players are perhaps foolishly assuming would be the next logical step for Uncharted as a franchise in addition to a measurement of PS4’s power.
In the clip above, during an interview that took place this weekend on Game Informer, the two voice actors behind Nathan Drake and Sam also gave their two cents on the game’s direction as well as where they draw inspiration from for the attitude, feel, and vibe of the fourth Uncharted game and first Uncharted game on PlayStation 4.
TLOU:R was so much better because of 60 frames per second, especially the online mode. Most people appreciated the ability to switch back and forth between 30 and 60 as well, usually ending up with 30 for those who enjoyed the Story mode a second time (or for the first time). Based on everything that’s coming out of the Naughty Dog camp at this moment in time, it sadly appears that Uncharted 4 is probably not going to end up being 60 Frames Per Second.
With full fledged “Fanboy Wars” raging on once again within underground gamer communities, Naughty Dog probably doesn’t want to risk having textures that are small enough to draw ridicule to the PlayStation brand and are actually just choosing bigger textures over more frames per second. Is it going to be Full 1080P HD, and truly True 1080P Native? Would it be possible to get the best of both worlds, with a slice in that texture size? Which would be the best looking / playing game at the end of the day? These are billion dollar questions, and the pressure on Naughty Dog surely is mounting up right now.
From the outside looking in, just making the Online Multiplayer Mode 60 Frames Per Second seems the obvious way to serve both demographics. But of course, game development is never that simple, and on this scale is surely something best left up to Naughty Dog to decide. We look forward to playing the game either way, and if players go into this expecting a movie-like experience as was delivered in Uncharted 2, I can’t imagine they’ll be let down based on what we are seeing so far. Going in to a game with little to no expectations is one of the best things you can do. It’s hard to do that with Call of Duty games, as they are constantly hyped or constantly bashed. There seems to be no middle ground and it’s a shame. As the new Advanced Warfare isn’t the best Call of Duty to ever come out, but it’s far from the worst as well. It manages to change up the combat just enough to make it feel somewhat unfamiliar. This may be because I have not played a Call of Duty intensely since Modern Warfare 2, but this version has managed to push it to a new level. While it’s not a perfect game, it definitely should reel in some of the older crowd back in for a bit.
We won’t be going over the Single-player here as it will have it’s own standalone review. This one is all about the online mode! It’s online does just enough to make people return. The jet packs and your Exo’s abilities do enough to change up the way you play. The cloak is one that really does it, a sit allows you to be virtually invisible for a short duration, but if your enemies get up close they will more than likely see you. The exos somewhat act like a perk, but asides from that there really aren’t many perks to be had.
What does remain rather impressive is that in all the years, in all of the installments, the kill cam has always remained inaccurate. It’s rather impressive as it almost is never accurate in the kills. What’s new to this installment as well is another annoyance, the melee inaccuracy. I can’t tell you how many time sit has not worked for me. I have stood directly over someone as they lay motionless, attempted to melee them, and nothing. Making it somewhat as inaccurate as the kill cams, it’s an impressive addition to the game though.
The biggest issue aside from that is that the maps have returned to almost the same size as Modern Warfare 3. Which I hated, but the maps a lot better done here. There are more ways to go, more ways to jump, and more places to get shot in the back from. It’s not as terrible a sit would be in a normal Call of Duty, but I still think bigger maps would have made the game a lot better. I admittedly get angry at this game 90% of the time, as my guns never seem to work and said anger is also aided by the inaccurate kill cams. That needs to be the next thing addressed really, as I believe 8 games have had kill cams and they are still annoyingly inaccurate. The maps though are very different from previous installments because they don’t feel the need to be big with the movement being so different. You can traverse a lot differently this time around and it’s rather exciting.
While some people may call it a Titanfall rip off, it doesn’t come off that way to me. As the Goliath is significantly different than an actual Titan and it feels that way. It feels much more vulnerable in that sense as well. The biggest issue might not be that it’s a rehash, it’s a clone, or any of that. The biggest issue is that the game suffers from a seriously lack of options when it comes to online. The game does have a good amount of customization options for your soldier. It’s not anything to rival RPGs, but it feels like more than in any of the previous installments. With a good amount of preset characters to choose from you also unlock articles of clothing as well. You can make your character look somewhat unique and that somewhat surprises me. Luckily for us, the emblem system is back as well. I have yet to see a penis or a swastika, so that’s a victory… but I am sure I will come across one here soon.
The online does just enough to pull players back in. It’s new traversal system has done this outdated and rehashed franchise a real service as older players will find out. You somewhat have to actually learn how to play the game all over again as things really have shifted the play in to a different direction. Is it the best Call of Duty ever made? No,I feel like Call of Duty 4 was and still is the best. The biggest issues with this one though are the map sizes, the inaccurate melee and kill cams, the lack of perks, and the lack of dedicated servers. These are all problems that have persisted in the franchise for a while and they really need to end. While Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare isn’t the best FPS or Call of Duty, it’s definitely more than I expected.
The most unfortunate thing for users is the season pass has returned to the ridiculous price, $50. Even Activision doesn’t take it seriously as it is advertised as “4 DLC Packs 1 Great Price*” which to me indicates that they do not believe it’s a great price, because it isn’t. Just like in previous games, there are overpowered guns as well, this was expected.It doesn’t seem quite fair that zombie players will have to purchase the $50 season pass just to get more of a taste. It’s also somewhat unfair to only include 13 compact maps and then charge $15 for packs of 4.
Jon Ireson, Editor-In-Chief discusses the campaign portion of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare:
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s campaign mode attempts to put the powerful emotion and cinematic intensity of Hollywood Action films back into the COD franchise, and to its credit nearly succeeds entirely. Acting is good at the start but then Kevin Spacey’s character begins to feel at times like he’s over-reacting which feels fake. This is because, without giving away any major spoilers, the plot twists way too soon. The game starts out with a relate-able Kevin Spacey that players can almost understand the genius of before fearing his army Atlas’ horrifying destruction. We don’t get to hear that side of his character out long enough though to really seal the bond to this story mode, which in its own right is full of spectacular moments that make you feel fully alive and as if you’re an awesome hero in a real-world setting busting caps in fools for the greater good. Once Spacey’s character goes over the edge though, it doesn’t feel the same. He seems like a raving lunatic and it leaves you feeling much more disconnected from the game since it no longer feels like a real-world setting.
As far as gameplay goes, things are vastly improved over old campaigns. The aspect of ranking up in a story campaign are finally realized in Advanced Warfare. The game has changed, and changed enough to where it actually matters. Exo Suits come with abilities as Chris has described above and in the campaign they are given a piece at a time based on your performance as well as the mission at hand. Watching which parts of the suit are live by a diagram of your spine flashing before a mission helps add to the immersion a bit and is a nice touch for campaign mode as well. Musically and visually the game’s campaign flows with its gameplay properly. Sledgehammer Games might have had a hard time proving themselves to me, but this campaign was worth giving them a chance. It’s awesome.
Lots of vehicle driving, unexpected moments, Michael Bay level explosions and rapid moment-to-moment happenings, and did we mention 60 frames? Yeah, that’s a thing you might want to know about. It’s still 60 frames per second, thank god. Veteran mode is a bit too easy, making me feel like more of a challenge should have been offered off the bat. Graphically everything looks excellent on the Xbox ONE, especially when we consider this is a new game engine based on the foundation of old COD engines. Old COD engines of course, have been heavily modified versions of Quake and id engines from the golden days of shooter gaming.
Sledgehammer Games really went all out with improving the code though. This game’s animation and rendering system are solid and as next-gen as it gets. After seeing the launch of Call of Duty Ghosts and reviewing the game at a 6 it’s easy to see that Advanced Warfare is a much higher quality game in terms of Co-Op, Multiplayer, and Campaign modes.
Exo Challenges in Campaign as I mentioned above add a great deal of engagement to the player in addition to the rich storytelling found in Advanced Warfare. For those that are reading this and know nothing of the plot, players are inducted into a private military corporation / army called Atlas and given a cybernetic second chance at the soldier’s life. The chance of a lifetime if you ask me…
Parting notes before I let Chris come in with his Final Verdict on Advanced Warfare; there’s a very good variety of enemy behavior in this game when compared to past COD’s. This is easily the best COD campaign we’ve seen in recent years. Shootouts while mid-freeway and incredibly action-packed moments help prove that this game stays true to its classic arcade style shooter roots and core. The cinematic quality of Advanced Warfare successfully keeps Activision up to date with other major AAA publishers putting out more emotional and film-like content such as Sony. The trend for a more emotionally rich game industry focusing on video games as an art medium doesn’t have to come at the cost of awesome action, fun gameplay, and replay value. I think this is only half of a revitalization of the series, it is fun and can stand on its own two feet, but the pre-existing issues are what continue to hold back the series. Whether this be the fake promise of dedicated servers, small maps, overpowered guns, or a rip off for a Season Pass, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare isn’t a bad game, but feels like it needs more value to it.

The Headline Tour Trailer for Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Xbox ONE Exclusive) releasing with four games, all of the DLC, and core multiplayer modes left untouched from the classic days, paired with dedicated servers and graphics upgrades for key items, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will touch down on November 11, 2014.
The following Teaser Trailer was released by Lionhead Studios showing Fable Anniversary being played on PC with a Steam overlay, this confirms and preludes a forthcoming official announcement for the title which we will bring forth soon.
Lionhead Studios stated that they were “inundated” with requests for Steam to get a copy of the release which hit Xbox 360 months ago. Microsoft and Lionhead Studios are happy to announce, they’re making it happen.
For those wondering how this came about, and what this means – Valve and Microsoft are working closer together today than in the history of the game industry. Take a look at some of the assets for this upcoming game as well as the latest info on this industry partnership.
In recent years, Microsoft started bringing their video games to Valve’s massive digital distribution marketplace Steam, which has become the #1 largest and most trusted place to get games from on the computer. Despite the fact that MS had once attempted to launch their own hub called GFWL, Games For Windows LIVE, the company based out of Washington in the United States decided to make a very smart move and reach out to the audience of the PC Gaming community that had felt a disconnect and left them behind.
As Microsoft reached out to Steam, Steam reached back. Age of Empires is a game that was never quite reproduced in terms of brilliant fun for real-time strategy gamers who wanted to feel a unique experience of commanding human troops as they evolve throughout history from B.C. and beyond. Age of Empires II HD for Steam proved to be a much more appreciated and critically acclaimed release for the PC than previous MS attempts on the computer platform and marked the beginning of a new embrace from even figureheads behind corporate charge of the Xbox brands, MS inner-leadership circles, and more.
Today we have learned another game previously unavailable on the PC is heading to Steam. As rumored some time ago, Fable Anniversary with enhanced visuals among other improvements made upon the Xbox 360 version (and Xbox OG original title).
Microsoft Studios has said in public interviews recently that they really, really want to bring a whole new level of support to PC Gaming. The last time they said that though, we were hit with some less-than-expected installments which attempted to bring us titles probably spun out of a focus group or marketing cash-in idea (Age of Empires Online and Microsoft Flight for example) instead of what we really wanted.
This time though, Windows PC and Xbox ONE are really showing promise with titles like Project Spark, Halo: Spartan Assault and Titanfall. With Microsoft’s newly purchased Gears of War IP, fans can rightfully hope to see some type of PC installment perhaps not of the full game but of a spinoff instead (similar to what was done with Spartan Assault). This doesn’t mean it has to be top-down, isometric “twin-stick” shooting like Spartan Assault, but Microsoft Studios has said that they are looking to explore cross-platform opportunities for Xbox exclusive brands in this way. Considering they’ve bought the rights to Gears of War, the time seems right for such a cross-over to occur – and hopefully skeptics will be surprised with the final results of that.

There are some who say that the Xbox 360 version never really got a fair shot and suffers from issues running at 1080P HD on Unreal Engine 3 (which Windows PC machines easily outperform without stutters). Perhaps a Steam release will be what Lionhead Studios needs to show their true vision of the game with less bugs, since last-gen technology has simply passed its prime at this point when it comes to utilizing the latest and best development tools.
In any event, it is great to see a huge gaming company take an obvious admission of guilt for bringing about a service that nobody wanted (GFWL) and being very classy in their efforts to remove it from being a burden on gamers while fully embracing the possibilities of a competitor who has simply fed the market better.

Just after comments were recently published by series creator Hideo Kojima that PS4 can render 1080P graphics at 60 frames per second without breaking a sweat, Konami has revealed that the Xbox ONE version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will run at 60 frames per second but will only feature 720P graphics resolution while the PlayStation 4 version of the game is sporting Full 1080P High Definition graphics and still maintaining the 60 frames per second refresh rate.
For those who are planning to play the game on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 consoles – the PS3 / 360 version has been confirmed to be running a 720P resolution at 30 frames per second refresh rate. This is makes the fifth Metal Gear Solid game the most recent in a string of titles that will be played with better graphics on PS4 than Xbox ONE supporting arguments that Sony PS4’s hardware setup is superior to Microsoft’s X1 architecture in terms of producing next-generation graphics advancements.
While this announcement is sure to fuel the fire of fanboy wars and tech debate, the publisher has spoken and the final game is indeed going to be running with better graphics on PlayStation 4. A Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 5 PS4 was also announced to be launching in Japan called the FOX EDITION (as pictured below).
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will release on March 18, 2014 in North America and on March 20, 2014 in Europe.
