The Evil Within’s Third DLC Will Feature Its Own Story

During Bethesda’s livestream of The Evil Within and its second DLC, someone in the chat wanted to know if the third DLC, will feature some kind of story.

One of Bethesda’s employees confirmed that, ‘The Executioner’ will have its own story. For those who aren’t aware, the third DLC will put players in the large boots of the Keeper — one of the main enemies from The Evil Within, in a collection of mission-based maps.

You can skip to the 29 minute mark to hear his confirmation. He also confirms that ‘The Consequence’ will feature more action compared to the first part-one of Juli Kidman’s story, ‘The Assignment’. There is also several minutes of footage for part-two.

The Evil Within: The Consequence will launch next week, April 21st for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. No date has been given for ‘The Executioner’ as of yet. Both DLCs are included — along with The Assignment (Our review), in the season pass for $19.99.  They can be purchased separately for $9.99.

Prepare to Relive Old Memories in The Evil Within’s Second DLC

Bethesda continues to provide The Evil Within fans, with more content for its next DLC. Over on Facebook, they have released yet another screenshot for ‘The Consequence’, the finale to Juli Kidman’s story. In the screen below, Kidman is seen inside of an office with the following caption:

“Relive the memories of the good ‘ole times in ‪#‎TheConsequence‬

Over on twitter, fans were treated to a brief clip of one of the game’s terrifying enemies. Apparently The Consequence “may cause nightmares”. It might even cause seizures, honestly.

The Evil Within: The Consequence will release on April 21, 2015 for PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. It is included in the season pass for $19.99, but can also be purchased separately for $9.99. You can read our review of part-one, ‘The Assignment’, here.

Kidman isn’t Running Anymore in these Images for The Evil Within’s 2nd DLC

The finale to Juli Kidman’s two-part story, “The Evil Within: The Consequence”, will release later this month. The game’s official Facebook page has released a screenshot and concept art for the upcoming DLC, featuring an armed Kidman and the following caption:

“No more running. Kidman is now armed and dangerous in ‪#‎TheConsequence‬

It appears The Consequence will be more action oriented this time around, unlike the previous DLC which featured a bigger emphasis on stealth, since Juli spent most of her time playing hide-n-seek.

The Evil Within: The Consequence will release on April 21, 2015 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. You can read our reviews of the main game and the first DLC, “The Assignment“.
