The Four Horsewomen will Not Be Available as DLC in WWE 2K16

NXT-WWE-Four-Horsewomen-665x385

(From left to right, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charolette & Sasha Banks. The 4 Horsewomen of NXT/WWE)

Earlier this week 2K Games revealed the final batch of wrestlers for WWE 2K16’s huge roster. To the dismay of many fans, the likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and NXT’s Women’s Champ Bayley didn’t make the cut.

Since Banks confirmed to a fan that she had been scanned for the game, so many quickly assumed that the four would end up being released as DLC. It turns out that will not be the case, according to a recent announcement from the developer.

Apparently they did all the could to have the four talented women included in WWE 2K16, but for “various reasons,” they could not.

“We pushed as hard as we could to include Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley in WWE 2k16, but it simply did not work out for various reasons. While we are not divulging full details on WWE 2K16’s post-launch plans just yet, we can confirm that the Four Horsewomen will not be available as DLC.”

What those various reasons are, they did not specify.

“We are proud to have and built the largest WWE roster to date featuring the most Divas ever. The WWE 2K16 disc includes all of the Divas on the main roster at the time we locked it in (13 playable in total). We all agree the Divas Revolution is great for business and look forward to celebrating the Divas even more in future WWE 2K titles.”

Based on the rest of this post, it appears that fans looking to play as members of the four horsewomen will have to wait until next year’s iteration.

Here’s How Many Create-a-Superstar/Diva save slots are in WWE 2K16

hqdefault

One the most popular features (If not the most) in WWE games, is the ability to create your own male and female superstars. From WWE versions of themselves to comic book characters, the most creative of fans will spend countless hours making a plethora of created wrestlers to show to their friends and the rest of the world. Unfortunately last year’s iteration only featured 25 character save slots, much to the disappointment of many.

Thankfully the developers look to make it up to their fans this year, as WWE 2K16 will feature 100 save slots. Yes 100!! Now I personally won’t make that many, not even close, but I’m sure many fans will. Check out the quick video clip below for confirmation.

WWE 2K16 will launch on October 27, 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Here’s Your First Look at WWE 2K16’s Stone Cold Showcase Mode
