Bethesda has finally revealed via Press Release, the release date for The Evil Within’s first DLC. The Assignment, staring Sebastian’s partner Juli Kidman, will be available to download on March 10, 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
The Evil Within: The Assignment, is the first part of Juli’s two-part story, with The Consequence releasing later this spring.
There will be an increased focus on stealth gameplay mechanics this time around. Players will encounter “disturbing new enemies, discover new mysteries, and uncover new horrors.”
“The Assignment and The Consequence give fans of The Evil Within the perfect opportunity to discover detective Kidman’s hidden motivations and her mysterious connection to Mobius, the shadowy group thought to be behind the gruesome events of The Evil Within.”
The Assignment and The Consequence are included in The Evil Within’s Season Pass. Available $19.99, players will receive a discount on all the three DLCs add-ons, including The Evil Within: The Executioner, which puts them in control of the deadly Boxman (aka the Keeper).
You can also purchase The Assignment separately for $9.99. Prices and release dates may very by region and/or platform.
