The most anticipated gaming collection ever made, “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” has just received some even more exciting news for players. Recently 343 Industries revealed some new information regarding “Halo 5: Guardians” and it’s directly link to the upcoming “Halo: Master Chief Collection.” According to a report from IGN, 343 announced 4 new armors that can be collected through gaining certain achievements in Halo MCC. The Mark VI (Gen 1), Mark VI (Gen 1) Scarred, Helioskrill, and Nightfall armors are “early high-res armor developments. Materials not representative of final in game model,” according to a quote from 343. Which essentially means that these armors are still a work in progress and will look a little more ragged and beat up when they are complete.
All four of the armors will be useable in the Halo 5 beta and will carry over to the game once it is released. There are 4,000 achievement points to gain from playing “The Halo: The Master Chief Collection,” but it only takes 4 specific achievements to obtain these 4 armors. The list of the achievements needed to do so and the armors that they will get you are below. Here’s a sneak peek of the armor:
Helioskrill armor can be retained by achieving the “Legend” achievement. By completing the previously mentioned achievements you will get both the helmet and armor.
The Mark VI (Gen 1) is collected by earning the “Your Journey Begins” achievement
The Mark VI (Gen 1) Scarred armor is received by earning the “Cairo Stations” achievement.
To gain the “Nightfall” armor helmet you must watch the Halo: Nightfall Episode 1 Second Story. To collect the armor players will have to watch all 5 episodes of Halo: Nightfall.
“Halo: The Master Chief Collection” is only 10 days away and this news just adds a little more fuel to the fire of excitement.
