Back in February during an earnings call, Activison announced that the new Call of Duty would be returning to it’s roots. Which had people of course speculating that the series would return to it’s original setting in World War 2, and after the success of Battlefield 1 going back to World War 1, it’d only make sense. An anonymous person who is close to the project as leaked several promotional imagines for the rumored Call of Duty WW2, featuring solders on the beach of Normandy in 1944. Likely based on everything we have been hearing and franchises decreasing sales, this would be the best time for Call of Duty to return to it’s roots.
