The long awaited Game “The Legend of Zelda Hyrule Warriors” got it’s First Commercial in Japan. The 30 seconds video shows a little bit of game play in a game mode that is based of classic Zelda. In the video it shows a brief bit of fighting with Zelda and Link in the midst of it all. So far the two locations shown in the video are Hyrule Field and Skyloft. This commercial may be 30 seconds long but like all other Japanese commercials, got straight to the point. It may not of revealed much but from the looks of it seems to be a very exciting game that I for one cannot wait to play.

During an interview with Gameinformer, series director Eiji Aonuma teased the possibility of a mutiplayer component in the next Legend of Zelda title.
While discussing the possible changes to the main series, Aonuma was asked if multiplayer, which is a feature the Dynasty Warriors style spin-off Hyrule Warriors, would be present in the next Zelda game.
“The two-player functionality of Hyrule Warriors is actually something that has traditionally been done in the Dynasty Warriors series, but they’ve changed because of the hardware and the second screen on your GamePad, replied Aonuma.
“Instead of having a splitscreen on the television, you have one-player playing on the television and one on the GamePad. When I was talking back about making Zelda more than just a single-player experience? That’s something you will see in the future, maybe next year.”
Could Eiji be referring to the recently announced The Legend of Zelda Wii U shown at E3, or another game entirely. All signs for now point to it as the game has a release window for 2015. As for what form the multiplayer would take, be it co-op, competitive or mixture of both, remains to be seen. Fans could get something similar to Hyrule Warriors or the feature in Super Mario Galaxy, which sees the second player collect coins…hopefully it is the former.

Hype, anticipation, confusion, curiosity, doubt, belief, hope; these are some of the emotions that can be attributed to Nintendo Wii U gamers right now who prefer to pursue a seal of Nintendo approved exclusive title such as Hyrule Warriors. This title may end up getting its name changed before the final build is shipped to the public, and Nintendo commissioned Omega Force / Tecmo Koei in order to get it done. Nonetheless this is a great chance for fans of Link to experience something different while waiting for the project currently codenamed as ‘Zelda U’ or ‘Zelda Wii U’ by conspiracy watchers.
The following Official screenshots were released by Nintendo for Hyrule Warriors the Nintendo Wii U Exclusive announced late last year. These snapshots were taken from “the good angles” using in-game rendering. In addition to showing off some semblance of what the final product’s gameplay may end up being like, these screens also reveal a few landscapes Hyrule Warriors will feature and showcase the newly envisioned graphical presentation of well-known characters Link, Impa, Wizro, Valga, Shia, and The Black Witch.
Nintendo also released the following Concept Art images for Zelda – Hyrule Warriors. These images include enemies and potentially playable characters. Concept Art is created for use during development of the game and usually respresents the way characters will be represented in the final product, but may vary as they are something of a blueprint for developers to run off of.
So far, it’s unclear what the final name of Zelda – Hyrule Warriors will be or how the retail game will differ from the preview material we are being shown. If Nintendo’s track record is any indication though, extensive QA testing is hopefully on the horizon for this title’s development cycle. Hyrule Warriors is currently expected to release in Japan on August 28, 2014 and has not been given a release date for Europe / Australia / North America regions just yet. Also, in case anybody missed it, below is a convenient replay of the Hyrule Warriors 2013 Announcement Trailer released by Nintendo in December.

First time being released state side and as of right now it is solely releasing for Nintendo 3DS, for those not familiar with this oddly named title it is developed by Square Enix being the game is the soul successor to Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light. This is going to be a great hit for any JRPG fan who owns a 3DS.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
After the success of the 2010 donkey Kong returns on Wii (later on 3DS) Retro Studios has announced their newest game coming to the Wii U (and most likely 3DS) featuring the return of their entire Donkey Kong team, according to Retro Studios this will be their most challenging game.
Hyrule Warriors (working title)
To all the Nintendo fanboys out there I have one word to catch your interest: Zelda. Well more like Zelda meets Dynasty Warriors… being developed by Nintendo alongside Tecmo Koei. This looks to be a game that might hold over Zelda fans over until the next chapter in the series releases. Based of what I got to see of the game, it shows off Link battling hordes of enemies, though Nintendo and Tecmo Koei have stated there will be more playable characters hence Hyrule in the working title.
Kirby Triple Deluxe
The pink puff ball makes his return! (Without yarn this time… yarn is not epic) This time bringing in a new story, a new ability that allows him to suck in the screen and a new 4 brawler mode resembling smash bros. Taking a few cues from Donkey Kong Country Returns Kirby will now venture levels and solve puzzles in the main platform level as well as the backgrounds of levels.
Mario Kart 8
Look yet another Mario game! Can’t imagine why Nntendo is having financial issues with games this original… anyways; Mario is returning to the track along with a slew of other Nintendo characters! Being developed for Wii U, Nintendo will be continuing implementing ideas featured in the 3DS game Mario Kart 7 such as bikes and gliders. From the looks it seems like Nintendo is still showing off their abilities to make unique and innovative tracks.
The title explains the basis of the game, a remix of classic Nintendo titles. It’s only going to cost $15 on the Nintendo E-Shop, which isn’t that bad of a deal considering you get to play these great classic games like Donkey Kong Country (you know when Nintendo was in their prime) with some remixes to pull some old school gamers back in, one of the examples Nintendo gave was the ability to play as Link from Zelda in Donkey Kong (Awesome!). Nintendo promises many awesome remixes in this promising title.
Super Smash Bros. (New characters)
As every Nintendo fan knows Super Smash Bros. will be releasing next year on both 3DS and Wii U so I won’t go into the game details. Nintendo announces 2 New characters being added to the fighting line-up: Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy and the mighty star Luma. Seems like this new Smash Bros. title may have the strongest line up yet… maybe.
Yoshi’s New Island
Bringing story book graphics to introduce new players to Yoshi’s Island the brief teaser trailer still showed very Super Ninteno-ish style gameplay for old school Yoshi Island fans to recognize. Being added to the Nintendo “New” Mario line up similar to “New Super Mario Bros” released a few years ago. This may be the promising title recently announced by Nintendo.
Keep an eye on these titles and new upcoming announcements coming from Nintendo here @ RealGamerNewz

Welcome back to You Know You Were Thinking It! a series from Deon Lofton of RealGamerNewz.com where Deon will be exposing those hidden thoughts that are in the back of every gamer’s mind.
1. Is camping really the future of First Person Shooters? I hope not.
2. Duke Nukem? Who? Remind me who that is again? (Here’s a video for those of you who may be a little young for this one.)
3. Ever wonder what’s really on Link’s mind as he is roaming through the forest?…………. It’s probably not what you think (hint, hint).
4. We all have played a game that was very difficult. For me, that game was Final Fantasy 7. I am still stuck in the factory, 15 years later – talk about difficult.
5. What’s up with these video game system intial startup times? First the beep (on PS3), then the noise of the fan (on Xbox 360), then the logo. I mean, you can practically make a cup of coffee before the system finishes loading – just saying. Here’s to hoping the next generation will be faster!
6. So, who won the battle? Battlefield 3 or Call Of Duty? The numbers speak for themselves.
7. I see Fat Princess is still eating that cake! She can’t get enough.
8. Ok I mentioned him before but, didn’t Dom from the Gears of War series deserve to live? I mean, his wife was tormented by the Locust – woudn’t that be enough? I can see it now, a Gears of War spin- off featuring Dom as the main Character! But it’s probably just wishful thinking on my part, I guess.
9. Who’s really going to win the battle? Street Fighter or Tekken? I Guess we will have to wait and see.
10. Do boobs really help sell a game? I think so. We will probably find out when we see how well Soul Calibur V does.
11. With all the fighting games were seeing this year, one has to wonder, where is Virtua Fighter 6?
12. Speaking of fighting, where is Battle Arena Toshinden? Sophia’s whip will put Ivy under submission.
13. CJ has been away from the scene for a long time. He’s probably hanging out with his crew underground. He was the best GTA character right up there next to Luis Lopez.

This is a new section I will be doing to expose those hidden thoughts that are in the back of every gamer’s mind. You know you were thinking it!
1. Why does Princess Peach always need to be rescued? After all, the moves she has in various Mario games shows she’s capable of defending herself!
2. Was I the only person to think that Link was actually named Zelda? Talk about confused.
3. Will Sonic The Hedgehog ever die? It’s like the Energizer battery he keeps going and going.
4. Where is Shenmue 3?
5. How Many Mushrooms Can One Man Eat? aka Mario?
6. Did Dom from Gears of War go to Heaven or Hell?
7. Killer Instinct reboot? I hope and pray.
8.How many cakes can a Fat Princess eat?
9. Did MW3 steal all the Zombie’s glory? Uh oh, Zombie Revenge is imminent, or is it just DLC? Just kidding.
10. Finally, wouldn’t it be cool if Cat Women and Ryu from Ninja Gaiden shared a game together? Claws and Heads would be flying. Priceless.
