BIOHAZARD FRANCE Releasing Resident Evil “Rebirth” Remake Footage [France]

 Resident Evil Illuminati

These footage clips seem to have been used in testing of some sort and now have become released to show off some of the work that was done in the original Resident Evil Remake known on the GameCube. Soon, a next-gen remake will come as recently confirmed by Capcom. It would make sense if BIOHAZARD FRANCE (which is the branch of the game under its alternative name overseas) are releasing these footage clips now as a precursor to something larger at Tokyo Games Show 2014. Enjoy them for yourselves below.

Editor’s Note: These clips are not indication of the final game product, we make no claim of ownership over these clips.

****Update: 5-7 Days Until $10 Credit Refund Arrives, Sony Clarifies

The Last Of Us Remastered PS4

****UPDATE: Sony’s Adam Boyles spoke on social media through verified Sony account confirming that in 5-7 days, those who had pre-ordered The Last Of Us: Remastered on PS4 for $59.99 will be receiving a $10 credit into their PSN Wallets now that the game’s full price has been reduced to $49.99 ahead of its July 29, 2014 release date next week.

The previous, unedited Rumor Post is below:

As many gamers may be aware, it is the standard policy of Steam, Xbox Live, PlayStation Store, and Nintendo eShop to NOT allow refunds on any digital purchases. Of course, this simply means that the parties involved are not obligated to issue any refunds. There are still a lot of times when gamers have been given exceptions to the rule in case of dire need or just to keep the peace.

To clarify, the customer service representatives of these digital marketplaces have the ability to sometimes grant refunds in special situations – but all user agreements state that there are no digital refunds guaranteed on these stores. Unfortunately, we may have reached a point when too many people are going to be asking for the same refund at the same time. This means a much larger solution much be reached.

According to a new rumor posted gamers who pre-ordered The Last of Us: Remastered on PS4 for $59.99 on the PlayStation Store are upset over the recent drop in price to $49.99 and are failing to obtain refunds nor have they been able to get their PSN Wallet credited with $10 vouchers to make up the difference. If this is truly a problem that is occurring, it’s definitely foul that Sony is essentially charging early adopters of the HD Remaster more than those who waited and waited until now to pre-order. The post in question is stating all of this as fact, but we are not going to be so quick to lynch Sony over this. It remains to be seen if this is an isolated incident or if indeed many people are being turned away.

It also remains to be seen exactly how many people will be effected by this. The post itself points out that pre-order legal wording on PlayStation Store specifically forbids the cancellation of any pre-order, and in plain English states that refunds will not be available for any pre-orders.

If this does indeed turn out to be true, we suggest that Sony act quickly in announcing a $10 credit to PSN Wallets for those effected by this and / or perhaps some type of free in-game DLC such as masks, equipment, or weapons which would otherwise be sold through micro-transactions – this way Sony doesn’t have to go through the insanity of sending $60 back to each pre-order and gamers who supported them immediately by pre-ordering The Last of Us: Remastered for the PlayStation 4 don’t get punished for having Sony’s back. That being said, we really don’t know if the $49.99 price is a permanent thing either since it was just dropped this weekend.

The Last of Us: Remastered is being developed by the same team behind the Uncharted series and TLOU on PS3, Naughty Dog, who are aiming for 1080P resolution with 60 frames per second or better and have reportedly already met their target. The Last of Us: Remastered will also feature the multiplayer gameplay seen on the original PS3 title and with new refresh rate offers an essentially new experience for those into the survival competitive multiplayer aspects of this third person shooter / survival horror franchise birthed out of a cinematic and real human emotion campaign which many chose as Game of the Year for 2013.

PSN Exclusive TLOU PS4 Pre Order

What do you think? Should Sony give users something in return for pre-ordering early at a higher price, even though their legal print and terms of conditions clearly state that they will not? Did you pre-order TLOU: Remastered and are you effected by this? Let us know in the comments below as we reach out to Sony for comment on this evolving story in progress.

The Last of Us: Remastered releases exclusively for Sony PlayStation 4 on July 29, 2014 (about a week and a day from the time of this posting) and includes all previously released DLC, the campaign, and the multiplayer all remastered in 1080P High Definition at 60 frames per second or higher.

The Last of Us’ Final DLC Will drop Early May

the-last-of-us

The third and final DLC for Naughty Dog’s masterpiece, The Last of Us, will drop in the week of May 5th. The developer sent out a tweet recently giving their fans the heads up.

Since Sony usually updates its PlayStation store on Tuesdays in North America and Wednesdays in Europe, it is safe to say that PS3 owners will be able to download the ‘Grounded Bundle’ on May 6th and 7th respectively.

The Grounded Bundle will include a new difficulty mode for singleplayer, Grounded mode ($4.99 by itself), the Reclaimed Territories Map Pack ($9.99), the Survivalist Weapon Bundle ($5.99) and two Survival Skills bundles ($3.99). Those who have purchased the season pass for $19.99 will be able to download the Grounded Bundle and all of its content for no additional charge. Better hurry though as the season pass will no longer be available for sale after the week of May 13.

The Last of Us: Remastered which launches this summer for PS4 will include the ‘Grounded Bundle’ as well.
