According to a report from GameSpot EA has secured the rights to sequel to the highly successful Titanfall. EA hasn’t came out and officially confirmed this but if it’s true it wouldn’t come as a surprise to many seeing as how Titanfall is the hottest game out on the Xbox One at the moment.
GameSpot’s source claims that EA and Respawn Entertainment reached an agreement that stated if the first game were successful EA would secure the rights to a sequel. While no sales figures are known, it is known that the game has helped Microsoft move Xbox One consoles, at least in the UK. This is good news for fans of the game and we have yet another contender in the first person shooter game. Another good thing about this is that it brings us closer to possibly seeing Titanfall on other consoles besides Xbox One and PC.
What do you gamers think of Titanfall so far? Would you like to prepare for another drop into this universe or do you feel the game was over-hyped? How do you feel about it coming to other consoles or do you think Microsoft may attempt to buy exclusivity rights to the next iteration in the series? Sound off in the comments!
